It seems to be a spot where one can find traditional Chinese flavors without the heaviness or greasiness often associated with such cuisine.
The environment of New China Cuisine Express is characterized as "small and humble," indicating a no-frills setting that emphasizes functionality over elaborate decor. Despite its size, the restaurant is noted for having a dine-in option, which has been "clean each time" according to one reviewer. This suggests a well-maintained and hygienic space for customers who choose to eat on-site. The initial impression of the restaurant by one customer was modest, not expecting much beyond a better alternative to fast food, which implies a simple and straightforward atmosphere. However, this initial expectation was quickly surpassed by the quality of the food.
In terms of services, New China Cuisine Express seems to cater to both takeout and dine-in customers. One reviewer ordered food to go and ate in their car, suggesting efficient service for takeout orders. The mention of a "friendly girl" greeting customers indicates a positive and welcoming initial interaction. The availability of bento box lunches also points to a service geared towards providing convenient and well-portioned meals, particularly suitable for lunch. The pricing structure, with a discount offered forgoing rice with the bento box, shows a degree of flexibility to cater to different preferences. The presence of steamed buns and braised meats as readily available options suggests these might be quick-service items, potentially appealing to those on the go.
The features of New China Cuisine Express are highlighted by its affordable pricing, generous portions, and the quality of its food, particularly noting its non-greasy nature. The lunch special, which allowed one customer to purchase three items with rice for under $20, is a significant feature emphasizing value. The new addition of bento box lunches, priced at $16 for three dishes with rice (or $14 without), also offers a reasonably priced and well-portioned meal option. The reviewer who tried the bento box noted the "very good portions" and "pretty good tastes," further highlighting the value and quality proposition. A particularly noteworthy feature, mentioned by a very satisfied customer, is that the food was not greasy and did not lead to the typical heavy feeling or post-meal lethargy often associated with some Chinese food. This suggests a lighter and perhaps healthier approach to the preparation of their dishes, which could be a significant draw for health-conscious consumers.
Beyond the lunch specials and bento boxes, New China Cuisine Express also features "many steamed buns and braised meat to choose from." This indicates a broader menu that includes these popular Chinese items, suggesting variety and catering to different tastes and preferences. The lack of specific dish names in the reviews makes it challenging to detail the exact culinary style, but the positive feedback on the overall taste and the non-greasy preparation suggests a focus on quality ingredients and cooking methods. The fact that one customer rated their experience a "10/10" and expressed a definite intention to return speaks volumes about the positive impression the food made.

Customer Reviews
I had just finished my doctor's appointment and I had not eaten breakfast yet. I did not want fast food so I checked this place out. It is small and humble and I was greeted by a friendly girl. I looked at their dishes and didn't expect much and thought, "it's better than fast food." I ordered some things and was on my way, less than $20 for 3 items and rice. I sat in my car and ate in and it was blown away. It was possibly one of the best tasting hole in the wall Chinese food I have ever had and the one thing I noticed, it wasn't greasy and I didn't feel heavy, nor did I fall into a coma like I normally do when eating Chinese food. 10/10 I would definitely come here again.
The new restaurant provides bento box lunches with very good portions, pretty good tastes and a very reasonable price. $16 for 3 dishes w/ rice (or $2 off w/o the rice). They also have many steamed buns and braised meat to choose from.
The dumping skin has a strange taste. I am charged $3.99 for one mini red bun , it is ridiculous. The duck neck is actually chicken neck !!!
Some dishes are good, like frozen pot stickers, and some are not so good, like old bean smelled soy milk, and pork buns. Also they don't speak much English there, difficult to communicate.
Most authentic Wang tongue soup! Delicious 😋
