New China 1 is hands down one of the best spots for Chinese takeout in the area! The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. My go-to order is the General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice, and it’s always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce is just the right balance of sweet and spicy. What really sets this place apart is their fast and efficient service. Even during busy hours, my order is always ready in 10-15 minutes. The staff is polite and keeps things moving smoothly, making the entire experience hassle-free. If you’re looking for tasty Chinese food with quick service, New China 1 is the place to go. Our service was wonderful when placing the order and the clerk answered any questions I had. The food was hot and fresh and was quickly made. The to go order was packaged neatly and the store even included an order of donuts for the kids. We ordered several orders of sesame chicken, shrimp lo mein, Mongolian shrimp with broccoli, egg drop soup, shrimp rolls, egg rolls. The portions were generous and everything tasted great.

Update after reading their response. I am in disbelief that you would respond with a lie. Jenny clearly advised me that they remedied the cooks not having their hair covered and that 2 different cooks made the chicken lo mein and the chicken fried rice so I couldn't have had hair in the 2nd dish. I have photos of the hair in the dishes & recordings of our conversations so I don't suggest you continue with your lies before the board of health comes in to confirm my review. Clean up the place and make sure the cooks are sanitary and wear hair nets or hats. #DisgustingResponse #PoorService On Sunday we ordered 5 entrees between myself and my roommate and 2 of the dishes had hair in them. It was ridiculous that Jenny argued with me so long about giving me a refund. She kept telling me the cooks have short black hair & guess what was in our food....SHORT BLACK HAIR!! We ordered from them a lot and now we will never step food in their establishment again. Poor customer service and unsanitary due to the hair in our food.

I ordered a General Tso chicken with fried rice! Absolutely horrible. This is not fried rice. This is yellow rice!! The chicken isn't even spicy! Normally Chinese restaurants give you more than enough food. I got a lunch portion at 8:30pm Never again!

Fried rice and chicken was dried as if they cooked it in advance and set it aside until some one ordered it- it wasn’t even hot. And last but not least the atmosphere was very dingy . Needs a new paint job. To your response I didn’t order over the phone . I came in your restaurant and sat approximately 15 minutes as if you all were cooking the food . . .
