Their strong endorsement, stating "I love this restaurant. It never fails to deliver in taste and quality," speaks volumes about the consistency and high standards maintained by the establishment. This positive feedback suggests that New Asian Pearl Peninsula excels in providing a genuine and satisfying culinary experience in these specific areas of Chinese cuisine.
A significant feature of New Asian Pearl Peninsula is its focus on fresh live seafood. One delighted customer raved about this aspect, noting that "The fresh live seafood is the best." This emphasis on the freshness of ingredients, particularly seafood, is a hallmark of high-quality Cantonese cuisine and suggests that diners can expect dishes prepared with the finest and freshest catches available. The reviewer also mentioned a seasonal favorite, "when the razor clams are in season, I’m here almost everyday!" This highlights the restaurant's commitment to utilizing seasonal delicacies and suggests a loyal following among seafood aficionados.
New Asian Pearl Peninsula also caters to a wide range of dining budgets. According to one review, customers can expect to spend "anywhere from $20 - $100 per person and always feel super happy and full!" This price flexibility indicates that the restaurant offers options for both casual meals and more elaborate dining experiences, ensuring that a diverse clientele can enjoy their offerings without compromising on satisfaction. However, they noted a significant "setback when one dish was delayed, keeping us waiting for nearly fifty minutes." While acknowledging that "the taste was satisfactory, and the remaining service was acceptable," this incident highlights a potential area for improvement in terms of kitchen efficiency and order management, especially during busy periods.
The same reviewer also provided a valuable piece of advice for prospective diners: "It's advisable to make reservations in advance, especially during peak hours when the restaurant tends to be crowded." Coming from LA, it was difficult to find a dim sum/Cantonese seafood restaurant and I finally found the perfect restaurant. I love this restaurant. It never fails to deliver in taste and quality. Best of all, they have great service and it’s super clean! I love that I can spend anywhere from $20 - $100 per person and always feel super happy and full! The fresh live seafood is the best and when the razor clams are in season, I’m here almost everyday! I highly recommend this place for casual dim sum or family dinner! They’re also super service dog friendly.
The overall dining experience at this Chinese restaurant was fine; however, there was a setback when one dish was delayed, keeping us waiting for nearly fifty minutes. Despite the wait, the taste was satisfactory, and the remaining service was acceptable. It's advisable to make reservations in advance, especially during peak hours when the restaurant tends to be crowded.
We were a group of 6 people from 2 families. We made a dinner reservation on Saturday and were told it would be crowded. We got there on time and fortunately were seated after 15 minutes wait. Not bad considering they had a banquet occupying 2/3 of the restaurant space. We ordered the six dishes and most of them were above the standard of the Cantonese food, especially the daily special steam soup which I would recommend to order. BBQ pork was ok. The fat portion was not tender enough and I still felt like eating fat, not the kind it would dissolve in the mouth. The service was good and attentive overall. My major issue is the noise. The tables were so close to each other and they were all the big table. It was so hard to have a conversation and we were yelling throughout the dinner. I would definitely not go again over the weekend unless they make more spaces among tables. Will check out over the weekdays to see if it is still that packed.
I really like eating dim sum! since eating dimsum at New Asian restaurant! Now I really hate eating dim sum! Maybe it will take a long time before I dare to eat again!
Poor service. Waiter dropped off some soup and didn’t even serve it. Just dropped off the pot. They didn’t even give us soup spoons. Are we supposed to eat with our hands? Waited over an hour and didn’t get all of our food. Pretty sure they forgot about us. First to come and last to leave. Very unacceptable.
