About New Asian Kitchen

New Asian Kitchen, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is a Chinese restaurant that has garnered a loyal following over the years, with some customers claiming it offers the best Chinese food in Arizona at an affordable price. It is known for its consistently hot, fresh, and delicious dishes, prompting one long-time customer to travel over 80 miles to enjoy their food.

Environment: The restaurant offers plenty of parking and easy access to the freeway. There is also a delicious drink place conveniently located a couple of doors down. However, one reviewer described the bathroom as "a little sketchy," comparing the experience of getting there to walking down a short, unsafe alley in Brooklyn. This is a point of concern to be aware of.

Services: The service at New Asian Kitchen is generally described as polite and quick. It appears to cater to both dine-in and takeaway customers. The restaurant is located in an accessible area, making it convenient for those in the vicinity or passing through.

Features: A standout feature of New Asian Kitchen is its consistently well-received dishes, particularly the crab puffs, which one customer loved so much they ordered a second dish to take home. The egg drop soup and mushroom chicken also received positive feedback, being described as delicious. However, the sesame beef received mixed reviews. While not considered horrible, one customer detected an odd, unidentified flavor that they later concluded was fish, even though they dislike seafood. This led to the suspicion of cross-contamination in the cooking process. Despite this issue with the sesame beef, other dishes seem to be popular and well-prepared.

Promotional Information: New Asian Kitchen is highlighted for its affordability, with one reviewer stating it's "affordable!!!" It is also promoted through the loyalty of its long-term customers who praise the consistent quality of the food over many years. The deliciousness of specific items like the crab puffs serves as a strong recommendation. However, potential customers should be mindful of the reported issue with the sesame beef possibly having a fishy flavor and the less-than-ideal condition of the bathroom.

In conclusion, New Asian Kitchen in Phoenix is a Chinese restaurant known for its affordable prices and consistently delicious food, with the crab puffs being a particularly popular item. While the service is generally good and the location is convenient, potential customers should be aware of mixed reviews regarding the sesame beef and the reported condition of the bathroom.

8/24/24: running an errand in this part of town and got hungry. Since I had a craving for crab puffs, we found New Asian Kitchen. Plenty of parking, service was polite and quick, a delicious drink place a couple doors down, and easy access to the freeway. Their bathroom was a little sketchy, though. I felt like I was walking down a short, unsafe alley in Brooklyn. New Asian Kitchen was good, but despite the odd flavor in my sesame beef dish, everything else was delicious: crab puffs (we even ordered a second dish to take home!), egg drop soup, and the mushroom chicken. The sesame beef was not horrible but there was an odd taste I could not identify at first. I only had a few bites anyway because we scarfed down the crab puffs and practically licked out the bowl of the soup. LOL! My sister's mushroom chicken was way better tasting than my beef dish, nothing odd with hers. When I tried to eat my leftover sesame beef later for dinner, I concluded the odd flavor taste was fish. I do not like seafood at all. My sister's sense of smell sucks and she was unwilling to try a bite, but I am positive the odd taste was from fish. I can only think it was there because they cooked the beef in the same pan as fish...? New Asian is not in our neighborhood so not sure we would stop in again. If it's more local to you, though, I would give it a go -- just beware the sesame beef. Unless you like fish flavors, then go for it.

I'm giving this place 5 stars on behalf of my mum. She hasn't had Cantonese chow mein in a very long time, and she was happy as a clam. I had their egg drop, and that was ono. They are very generous with their portions, and I've got enough lemon chicken for at least 3 meals. I also appreciate that they put your food in their own box for your pick-up order. Mahalo nui loa. ❤️

Best place ever, stop going anywhere else and come here. The orange chicken is the best ever, the crab puffs are out of this world. And the plain lo mien is so delicious. Been coming here for years and I will always go out of my way to come here.
