About New Asian Express

New Asian Express is a Chinese restaurant located at 10185 Washington St in Thornton, Colorado. As a local Chinese eatery, it offers a menu with options similar to other nearby restaurants, likely for both takeout and dine-in.

You can contact New Asian Express at (303) 280-8830 or via mobile at +1 303-280-8830. Customer reviews present contrasting opinions about this establishment.

One reviewer expressed a strong positive experience, highlighting the friendly owners and massive food servings, all for a very reasonable price (under $8 for a meal and soda). They gave it a 10/10 recommendation.

Another customer mentioned consistently enjoying specific dishes like white rice, rice noodles, and orange chicken, also rating their experience as 10/10.

However, a more recent review detailed a significantly negative experience. This customer visited on a Saturday and found many empty food trays with only honey chicken and sides available. The lo mein was described as tasting like boiled noodles, and the honey chicken was so poor that the customer had to spit it out, suggesting undercooked food due to a lack of available dishes. This reviewer also reported unprofessional behavior from a staff member who allegedly screamed at them. They strongly recommended Golden Scoop across the street as a superior alternative for food, service, and cleanliness. This customer indicated that while other locations of what seems to be the same establishment might be good, this particular one was "absolutely depressing" and that the food quality had declined significantly over time, even to the point of being inedible for catering events.

Given the stark contrast in recent reviews, potential customers should consider both the positive feedback regarding value and portion sizes and the serious concerns raised about food quality and service at this specific New Asian Express location in Thornton.

Love this place. Food options is similar to the other local joints. The owners are friendly and the food servings are massive. I got all this for less than $6, the soda adds $1.25, so less than $8. 10/10 would recommend. I get white rice, rice noodle and orange chicken 10/10

I came by on Saturday and they had no food and the little bit they had was disgusting. They had 8 empty trays and the only food out was honey chicken and the sides. I got the lo mein and it tasted like boiled noodles. The honey chicken I had to spit out. They were clearly under cooking because they had no food. He had the audacity to scream at me “what you want” 3 times, as if there wasn’t only 2 dishes available. Golden scoop is across the street. The food and service and cleaning is way nicer. I’ve been getting dollar scoop for my entire life and they just can’t make decent food anymore. The other locations are still good, but this is my second time coming and it was absolutely depressing. We used to get this catered for celebrations and now the food is indelible.

Fast, clean, friendly, and good food! My favorite spot on the way home for sure! I got quite a bit for just $5.75

For the value, this place is insane. We got 2 full meals (noodles and 2 sides), spring rolls, wontons, 3 more sides, and 2 drinks for $20. TWENTY. Absolutely crazy value. Taste was pretty good. I admire their craftiness in saving costs, the lo mein is almost definitely spaghetti noodles. But not bad at all!

Pretty good place. A little old fashioned looking but it has good food. And the prices are great. $8 for this plate. They put a very good helping of fried rice on it for you. The honey chicken could taste like there was more chicken than the crispy outside. So as the sesame chicken. The Mongolian chicken wings are a nice price for 3. Taste pretty much like a spicy regular fried wing. I’d go here again.
