New Apolo Intro

New Apolo is a restaurant located at 2899 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11207. It offers a unique combination of Chinese and Spanish cuisine.

According to customer reviews, New Apolo is a small spot that is known for its frozen drinks, particularly the "suicide margarita," which is highly recommended. The restaurant is praised for its frozen margaritas, especially during the summer months.

I ordered 3 plates of chicken and green plantains on Uber eats. The chicken and plantain were fried too hard. I didn't enjoy it but the frozen Margarita was good. What a waste of money

Small spot with good frozen drinks. Spanish/Chinese food... crackling chicken and fried rice was good. Rice was fresh and tasty. "Spicy garlic sauce" not spicy or garlicky, a little on the sweet side. Fresh garlic was better. Suicide margarita ALL SUMMER! Trust me!

I wish I could give it no stars the food was absolutely disgusting, the rice was stale and the bbq spare ribs were dry and chewy, the person taking the order was rushing for us to order like they were in a rush and the place wasn’t even time to close. The general tso chicken with shrimp fried rice hurt my son’s stomach 🤬 will never eat from here again…..

If half stars were allowed, this would be a 3.5 star review. Compared to the Chino Latino spots I grew up eating at in Sunset Park, does it taste the same or as good? No. Does it get the job done? Yes. I didn’t know this location existed until it popped up on Ubereats. I only ever knew of the ones on Grand St and Myrtle Ave. Those New Apolos however have really rude staff so I decided to take a chance with this one. First time I ordered i got my usual which is the Chuletas combination with ham fried rice and a side of spicy garlic sauce. Everything was really underwhelming and the sauce was way too sweet. Rice wasn’t terrible but it was lacking flavor. Second time I decided to try their broiled fish with salad. I also got a side order of ham fried rice and it was waaaaay better the second go around. The fish had a good flavor but a weird texture and left me wondering how fresh it really was. I will definitely order again, it’s giving me a chance to explore the menu instead of getting the same ol’ stuff.
