Neo Szechuan

Delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine! I didn’t take pictures of all the dishes I enjoyed but this is a great restaurant for eating with family or friends. Good portion sizes and amazing flavor. Pictured is the “spicy boiled fish filet” (水煮鱼片) which was savory and mouth-watering spicy, paired well with rice. Other dishes I recommend are the roast duck and the salt and pepper shrimp. Prices may appear higher, but the quality holds up. I recommend coming here if you want to try more authentic Szechuan style cuisine in Albuquerque!

Delicious food! Truly the best Chinese food I’ve had in all of Albuquerque. The vegetables taste super fresh and the dishes are so flavorful! The spice is PERFECTION. I had to order double the amount of fried rice just to make sure I had leftovers. I highly recommend. Service was excellent and restaurant was clean and quiet. The wonton soup was so fresh and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The soup broth was so soothing. Portion sizes are GENEROUS, so it’s the perfect spot for sharing. Mongolian beef and lo mein were also fantastic. Have to check this place out and support local!!

This is a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque. I don't often frequent Chinese restaurants in the U.S. because far too often their food is the usual sugar-laden Chinese-American fare, but this place has some absolutely authentic dishes. Though it has Sichuan in the name, this place has fairly wide variety of non-spicy items on the menu, as well as vegetarian options. If you like actual Chinese food, I recommend trying this place. It's not just one of the best Chinese restaurants in Albuquerque, it's actually legitimately good Chinese food.

Delicious! Our dishes were served family style. Both were tasty and the veggie fried rice amazing.

Very good food! The couple that own the restaurant were very friendly. I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was very good and fresh and had some nice heat to it, very large portion and definitely can be shared and seeing I was alone, I took the rest home. I also ordered general tao’s chicken and it was fresh and didn’t have that thick batter and the sauce was very flavorful. I will definitely go back! The service and food were both very good! Check it out I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
