Nalan Indian Cuisine - Downingtown

We had an enjoyable dinner. The restaurant offered a dedicated vegetarian appetizer and vegetarian entree menu. Modifying these menues to our dietary restrictions offered us several vegan options.

We recently visited this restaurant as a group of six and found the experience quite enjoyable. 🅿️ was hassle-free, thanks to the spacious parking lot. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, so we quickly got a seat and started exploring the menu, beginning with soups and appetizers. We ordered the Chicken Pepper Soup, which was excellent, and a variety of chicken appetizers, including Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, Karam Podi Chicken, and Tawa Fish Fry. The Karam Podi Chicken was already spicy, but we opted for the spicier version, which turned out to be too hot for me, though the rest of the group loved it so much that we ordered another plate. For the main course, we tried Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Noodles, Boneless Chicken Biryani, Goat Curry, and Naan. The fried rice, noodles, and biryani portions were a litte more that it is easily enough for two people to share, so we had to pack some of it. The Goat Curry, however, was underwhelming, and the naan was just average. We ended the meal with desserts like Rasmalai Ice Cream and Mango Lassi, both of which were delightful. Overall, this felt like an Indian restaurant in the locality where most of the food items were delicious and the service was quick too. We also saw a robot carrying foods for the pick up orders as well. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, it felt worth it for the quality and experience.

Nalan Indian Cuisine in Downingtown is a fantastic local spot for Indian food. We tried several different dishes, and each one was delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the quality of the food was impressive. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended if you're looking for great Indian cuisine in the area!

The food looks fresh so i would give 3.5 stars. But the taste is just okay. Expected exceptional taste considering its Nalan. I had to pay extra 10$ via doordash aswell since they dont give minimum $12 free delivery for this restaurant. 1. Chicken noodles - taste 7/10 2. Paratha w chickn curry - taste 6.5/10

A pretty good Indian restaurant with good service. The place is clean and has a call atmosphere. The food is good, though I felt it missed perfect marks just by a bit. But the moong dal halwa was perfection, just the best . The staff were very courteous and helpful. P.S They sometimes have a robot/vehicle which delivers food. Mainly used to send and keep the takeout orders by the door
