About Nai Brother
Nai Brother, located at 135-03A Roosevelt Ave in the bustling neighborhood of Flushing, NY 11354, USA, stands out as a Chinese restaurant with a distinct focus on specialized soup dishes. Unlike many traditional Chinese eateries that offer a vast, general menu, Nai Brother appears to excel in a particular niche: flavorful, hearty soups featuring various proteins and vegetables. The restaurant can be reached at (718) 306-6688 or via mobile at +1 718-306-6688, making it convenient for patrons to place orders for pickup or delivery.
As a Chinese restaurant, Nai Brother provides services centered around its unique culinary offerings. Their primary draw seems to be their "Golden Soup" series, which includes popular variations such as Golden Soup with fatty beef and Golden Soup with sliced fish. These dishes are characterized by their specific flavor profiles, described as "touch sour, lightly seasoned, and touch spicy," appealing to those who appreciate a nuanced and balanced taste rather than an overwhelming one. Beyond these signature soups, the restaurant also offers other Chinese dishes that align with their focus on rich, flavorful broths and fresh ingredients. The convenience of delivery is a highlighted service, with customers noting that orders are "well-packaged for travel," ensuring the quality of the food upon arrival. Takeout is also a significant part of their operation, catering to the fast-paced nature of Flushing's dining scene.
The environment of Nai Brother, based on available customer feedback, suggests a setup that prioritizes efficiency and the quality of the food, especially for takeout and delivery. While specific details about the dine-in ambiance are not extensively provided, the mention of "understaffed" conditions and "extra long" wait times for pickup indicates that the restaurant might be more geared towards a functional rather than a leisurely dining experience. This is common for popular eateries in busy areas like Flushing, where the demand for quick and delicious meals often outweighs the need for elaborate seating or extended table service. Therefore, patrons can expect a more casual and potentially bustling environment, particularly during peak hours, with a strong focus on preparing and dispatching orders efficiently. The cleanliness and organization of such establishments are typically maintained to handle high volumes of takeout and delivery orders.
The services at Nai Brother, while generally positive in terms of food quality, exhibit some operational challenges. The ability to order through phone numbers (718) 306-6688 and +1 718-306-6688 is a standard and convenient service. The packaging for delivery is a noteworthy positive aspect, suggesting care in ensuring the food travels well and arrives intact. However, a significant point of concern highlighted by customers is the service speed for pickup. One review explicitly mentions having to wait "15 mins past the time I got confirmation for pick up" due to the restaurant being "greatly understaffed." This indicates that while the culinary execution is often lauded, the in-person service and efficiency of order fulfillment can sometimes be a bottleneck. This is important for potential customers to consider, especially if they are on a tight schedule or prefer a seamless pickup experience. Despite these issues, the quality of the delivered product seems to consistently impress customers.
The defining features of Nai Brother primarily revolve around its distinctive menu. Their signature "Golden Soup" with fatty beef and sliced fish stands out due to its unique flavor profile—a delicate balance of sourness, mild seasoning, and a hint of spice. The quality of the ingredients is also a prominent feature; the beef is described as "nice, thin, and easy to eat and not much fat," while the fish pieces have "the right amount of filet" with "a slight salted seasoning, not overdone." The thoughtful inclusion of "various vegetables and tofu" in the soups ensures a well-rounded and nutritious meal. The portion sizes of the soups are considered "great for a single portion," offering good value. Another notable feature is the affordability of their pricing, making their specialty dishes accessible to a broader customer base. While the drinks are described as "mediocre and nothing special," it reinforces the idea that the main draw and defining feature of Nai Brother is indeed its savory and well-crafted soup dishes, a departure from more generic Chinese restaurant offerings.
From a promotional standpoint, Nai Brother benefits significantly from positive word-of-mouth, particularly regarding the distinctiveness and flavor of its signature soups. The explicit recommendation for delivery ("Do I recommend delivery? YES.") from a satisfied customer serves as a strong endorsement. The affordability ("nicely affordable pricing") is also a key selling point that can attract budget-conscious diners seeking quality Chinese food. While no specific promotional offers are provided in the reviews, the unique focus on specific, highly-rated dishes such as the Golden Soup series naturally promotes the restaurant to those seeking this particular culinary experience. The high quality and distinct flavor profile of their core offerings are their most effective promotional tools, encouraging repeat business and attracting new customers through positive recommendations within the Flushing community. Potential customers interested in current deals or loyalty programs would likely need to inquire directly with the restaurant via the provided phone numbers, (718) 306-6688, as specific discount information is not available in the given context. Despite the noted service issues, the quality of the food appears to be a powerful draw for Nai Brother.

Customer Reviews
Ordered Delivery of the Golden soup with fatty beef and the golden soup with sliced fish. I really enjoyed the flavor profile for these soups, touch sour, lightly seasoned, and touch spicy. The beef was nice, thin, and easy to eat and not much fat. The fish had the right amount of filet pieces with A slight salted seasoning to it. Not overdone on the seasoning which is nice. I thought the portion size of the soup was great for a single portion. I like that the soups had the right amount of various vegetables and tofu. The delivery was well-packaged for travel. I found the pricing to be nicely affordable. Do I recommend delivery? YES.
Main issue is they are greatly understaffed and wait time was extra long. I had to wait 15 mins past the time I got confirmation for pick up. Food is pretty delicious but portion is quite small with mainly vegetables stacked. Drinks are mediocre and nothing special.
Delicious, delicious, delicious. On this visit, I had the honey grapefruit tea. It's delicious with 0 sugar, since the honey sweetens it without leaving a sickly feeling in your mouth. On a different visit, I had the peach green tea. They ground up actual fresh peach for it, which tasted amazing. I tried my friends brown sugar with fresh milk bubble tea, and that was heavenly. Actual fruit is used, and it made so much of a difference. It's on the pricier end of bubble tea places in Flushing, but for the ingredients and the way they make it, it is well worth it. Some drinks also have a mini size, which is perfect for satisfying a craving without going overboard on a regular or large sized drink. YanYan Tea is also on the way to Skyview Mall, so it is very convenient to drop in.
This bubble tea place hit the spot on a rainy night. Their square special tapiocas were really good, and their taro special milk tea was so smooth. ! Instead of the usual rock sandy texute, this one is more strained and very easy blended with the milk tea. 10/10 on my opinion.
Love their saukerkraut fish. Healthy and delicious. They also provide a stamp card and If you get 10 stamps(10 meals), you get one free.
