About N Y Choi Fook

N Y Choi Fook is a well-known Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Renowned for its authentic Chinese cuisine and delightful dining experience, this establishment has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Situated at 2050 86th St, N Y Choi Fook offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere combined with an excellent selection of traditional and modern Chinese dishes. Whether you're craving dim sum or a full-course dinner, this restaurant promises to deliver a memorable culinary experience.

One of the standout features of N Y Choi Fook is its extensive menu, which includes a wide variety of dim sum items. While many Chinese restaurants use cart-style service for dim sum, N Y Choi Fook offers a unique approach by allowing customers to order directly from the menu. This method ensures that each dish is prepared fresh and brought to your table promptly. The restaurant takes pride in its selection of traditional dim sum items, such as shrimp dumplings, pork buns, and chicken feet, which are crafted with precision and care. For those seeking something a bit more special, N Y Choi Fook also offers unique dishes that set it apart from other Chinese restaurants.

Aside from dim sum, the restaurant's dinner menu is equally impressive. With an array of options ranging from seafood to meat-based dishes, there's something for every taste buds. The Twin Lobster dish is particularly popular among regulars, known for its generous portions and delicious flavor. However, it's important to note that the quality and presentation can vary, as noted in some customer reviews. Despite this, many diners find the overall experience worthwhile due to the variety of flavors and the opportunity to savor authentic Chinese cuisine.

N Y Choi Fook is open seven days a week, with extended hours on weekends. The restaurant's operating schedule ensures that it caters to both weekday lunch and dinner crowds as well as weekend families seeking a cozy dining experience. Whether you're planning a casual meal or a special occasion, N Y Choi Fook is the ideal destination for authentic Chinese cuisine.

Customer feedback highlights both the strengths and areas for improvement at N Y Choi Fook. Many diners praise the restaurant for its consistently good dim sum selection and friendly service. The variety of dishes available makes it a solid choice for those looking to explore different flavors of Chinese cuisine. On the other hand, some customers have shared experiences of slow service and issues with order accuracy. While these instances are not representative of the overall dining experience, they serve as reminders that there is always room for improvement in any establishment.

Overall, N Y Choi Fook remains a go-to destination for Chinese cuisine in Brooklyn. Its warm atmosphere, diverse menu, and commitment to authentic flavors make it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Always a solid choice for dinner or dim sum. Good variety of dim sum. They don't do it cart style but have you order from the menu and bring it to you. Good selection of usual items. Dinner choices are varied and tasty. Service is always on point. Definitely worth going to.

Approximately 3 years ago we made a reservations for 6:00 but we didn't get to 45 minutes later. However, yesterday the reservation was for 5pm, we got our seating on time. But the service was too slow. We had placed our orders at approximately 5:30 & the first food didn't show up until 6:45. The soup is chewy. The twin lobsters something is wrong with the claws. Well you know that the lobster has 2 claws and each claw has 1 big and 1 small. Turn out we got 2 big one and approximately 10 little one. The table next to us got a bigger portion of lobsters then our. Our was a round plate with only 1/2 full. The table next door got a huge long plate and it's full of lobsters. They got mostly huge claws. The crabs noodles turn out very little, close to none crabs meats. The fish were small. Some of the food was not edible. We had ordered the clam, never came. So we had reorder it and continued to wait for another 1/2 hour. We told them to check on them, they told us that they forgot to put the order in. The only dish that was good was the jumbo shrimp with Walnut and broccoli.

Authentic Cantonese seafood place. Best price for King crab in the neighborhood. The dishes are delicious. This is our go-to place for family dinner. Based on the last visit, most the dishes slightly too sweet, and the sauce for the chicken is too salty.

Party of three on a Friday morning, we were promptly seated upon entry. Carts come through on the regular, the food is great, and the servers are accommodating. The only negative of this place is that they don’t come around and refill water as often as they should. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to get dim sum.

Food is good and fairly priced but if you're waiting for dinner service you should not come hungry. A few times that I came for dinner with a reservation and menu chosen ahead of time, food was not served till almost an hour after sitting. I usually arrive a time that's still early for dinner before other customers come in so we would not get delayed but nope 1 hour wait. We would drool about 30 minutes in and kids would cry for food. First hour is to eat pain rice until side dishes come out. As for the other tables we would dinner our food before they even get theirs...I wonder what's going on in the back
