Some of THE best Chinese food we've ever had. We had to go two times in order to try most of the things that caught our attention. Every dish was very flavorful and delicious in its own way. Our favorite small dish was the pork and chive dumplings. These were actually the best, most perfectly executed dumplings I've ever had in my life. The exterior had a pleasing crunch at the bottom, and the interior was packed with perfectly seasoned pork and chives —all of which was elevated to the max with the most pleasing savory dipping sauce. We had to get it on both of our visits. Another personal favorite was the char siu chow fun. That dish packs a fist full of flavor right to the taste buds that leaves you wanting more. The pork was so tender and carried some of the best flavor it could have, reminiscent of chinese sausage but with actual pork. Lastly, the creme caramel dessert was a clear standout —think banana creme Brule mixed with lecheflan. It came with a piece of sesame toffee that paired extremely well with all the flavors. Creative and divine. The staff was consistently kind and welcoming, and the space had a great ambiance. This tasty little spot more than satisfies any cravings for excellent Chinese cuisine. We'll definitely be back to try even more things!
Want to have a mind blowing, flavor explosion experience? You are in the right place! EVERYTHING we ordered was 10/10. If I had to rank my favorites it would be like this: 1°:pork chive dumpling/ mussels (hard to pick the best between these two); 2°Bao buns; 3° glazed carrots and last but not least spring roll. Our server, Antonio, complemented what was already a terrific experience by giving us tips on the menu and bringing great energy. Will definitely be back!
Was the wife's birthday so it was always going to be Asian cuisine. Reserved this table a couple months out with high hopes. We were not disappointed. After a brief wait at the entrance bar we were seated at our reserved table and were able to take in how cozy and almost relaxed, yet still fast paced the restaurant was under the romanticly dim light. Food is served family style with food coming as it's ready. We ordered the sichuan sliced beef, Mama Chang's pork and chive dumplings, braised pork belly buns, and ginger scallion bok choy. Everything came out extremely fast and was absolutely fantastic. The beef was served cold which is an amazing contrast to the spice of the dish. Similarly, the contrast of the tenderness of the beef with the crunch of the celery and peanuts was delicious. The bok choy had a char on it that I could only dream to replicate and hope to taste again. The dumplings were so good that you could taste everything inside, pointing out the freshness of each and every ingredient. The pork buns were probably the softing I've ever held and the pickled daikon added the necessary crunch to pull it all together to serve as a great vehicle for the beautifully braised pork belly. The single downside of my experience came when I was still hungry. I picked the spicy Taiwanese fried chicken leg. That also arrived quickly, the chicken perfectly hot as the layer of spices kept the steam in until I took a bite and again, the slaw was a great cooling contrast. My ONLY gripe was I felt the chicken had a bit too much curry powder or 5-spice powder on the exterior. Other than that, Myers+Chang was fantastic and I hope to return to try many more dishes as one visit simply does not do the menu justice.
Wow! The tofu bao bun looked very unsuspecting, but it truly blew me away. The udon noodles were a solid 8/10, and the chocolate mousse had such a nice flavor with the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Thanks for making our anniversary special!
Brussel sprouts and sichuan cold beef are so heavy. Sichuan cold beef is actually spicy and authentic while the brussel sprouts show the perfect sweet and sour marinate sauce. Great atmosphere. We got dan dan noodles, nasi goreng, fresh tofu spring roll with spicy peanut sauce, and few drinks, Service was great, rly love the taste as well. Will return!
