About MuLan noodle and grill

Welcome to MuLan Noodle and Grill, a Chinese restaurant situated at 1016 E Hebron Pkwy Ste 140 in Carrollton, Texas. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, MuLan Noodle and Grill offers a diverse menu featuring a wide selection of noodle dishes, dumplings, and various entrees in a modern and comfortable setting.

Customers describe MuLan Noodle and Grill as a small yet quite good Chinese restaurant with a contemporary ambiance. The restaurant is particularly noted for its extensive options in both noodles and dumplings, alongside a good variety of main dishes. Dishes like the sweet and sour chicken and braised tofu have been well-received.

A standout feature, especially for dumpling enthusiasts, appears to be their soup dumplings. While the pork soup dumplings are considered good, the crab soup dumplings are highly praised as phenomenal, boasting a perfect ratio of wrapper, filling, and soup. The restaurant also provides a flavorful chili oil for dipping, along with the traditional vinegar and soy sauce.

However, some feedback indicates that certain noodle and soup dishes, such as the curry dry noodles and some soups, might be overly salty, and the pork belly in one dish lacked significant flavor or texture. Despite these mixed reviews on certain items, the crab soup dumplings are consistently highlighted as a must-try. For those looking for a Chinese restaurant in Carrollton with a modern environment and a focus on noodle and dumpling dishes, especially the acclaimed crab soup dumplings, MuLan Noodle and Grill is worth considering. Loved the name so had to try it out! Also, any Chinese restaurant that have soup dumblings, I am going to try them! Their pork soup dumplings were good but their crab soup dumplings were phenomenal! I would have to say that it was the perfect wrapper, filling, soup ratio! And they had chili oil that actually was flavorful for dipping along with vinegar and soy sauce. Now the curry dry noodles were overly salty and the pork belly didn’t have great flavor or texture. Also, the soups were very salty. But the dumplings are a must!

A small Chinese restaurant which is actually quite good. The place is modern, comfortable with lots of noodles and dumpling options. There are also good variety of entrees as well. The sweet and sour chicken and braised tofu were delicious. Soup dumplings were not bad. Glad we discovered this restaurant today.

Not a lot of good dumpling spot in Carrollton so this is a true gem. The lo mein was delicious, whereas most lo meins are just salty, this one actually had very nice flavor undertones. The pork buns and chicken dumplings pictured were also very nice.

Wow. Very impressed with the flavor, portion size, and selection of food from Mulan Noodle and Grill. I ordered the lunch version of the Jalapeno Stir Fry Chicken (with fried rice and hot & spicy soup). It came with two potstickers and one egg roll. It was a TON of food. I ate the whole thing and should have split it into two portions. When they say "spicy," they really mean spicy. Not so overwhelming hot, but the plastic is present. The spice doesn't overpower the depth of flavor. I would eat here again and j would recommend this place.

Very clean place. Scallion pancakes were nicely crispy but did not have enough scallion taste. The rest of the dishes were average. I do not recommend Kung Pao chicken as the chicken were just too soft and rubbery.
