Discovered this place when the weather was a bit chilly, and I was craving something spicy. Good amount of selection of veggies and proteins. They are having a $1 beer promo, which is a delight. The pork and black garlic broth extra spicy was tolerable, and I could do firey spicy (buldak spicy level). They also have free tea/hot water station.
Love this place. Super fresh ingredients and delicious broth. My favorite is the black garlic broth medium spicy. So flavorful. I come here with my wife and kids 2-3x per week:).
THE BEST FOOD IN SAN FRANCISCO!! The pork bone broth with black garlic with plenty of fresh vegetable, egg, tofu, seafood, and meat options! Omg! Sisters visiting from Mass, random pick. Extremely flavorful & delicious. Extremely kind, helpful & hospitable staff!
It’s great to have a Malatang bar in the neighborhood! I enjoyed the broth and the selection of ingredients was perfect for me. I liked their tripe and beef tendon balls. The service was great. $1 cans of Sapporo right now!
I was lucky enough to try both the bone and tomato broth during the first week of their soft opening....I can tell the Chef put lots of thought into the flavor profile before opening, aromatic and not salty. I really enjoyed the veggie selection, mushroom choices (four), several noodle options (I had the glass noodle 1st time with tomato broth, udon the second time with mild spicy bone broth), lotus root, tofu, lamb, beef, sausages, shrimp, beef balls, crab balls, great protein choices good price....I like being able to select the quantity of food I feel good about eating and not creating waste. The soup is served HOT and the staff were so friendly answering all my questions. Thanks for bringing your delicious food to the Richmond!
