Muji Thai presents itself as a cute and clean establishment, with quick seating and friendly service. However, my experience fell short of expectations. While our waitress was delightful and the food arrived promptly, the dishes failed to impress. The crispy duck salad lacked the promised crispiness, and the chicken teriyaki was subpar. The sushi rolls, particularly the Spicy Tuna and Bonita Beach roll, were disappointing due to their lack of substantial filling and mushy rice. It's possible that we simply made poor menu choices, but overall, Muji Thai did not live up to its positive reviews.

We came in with reservations for Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was empty (just a few customers) when arrived. We received our waters pretty quick, however, it took a long time before someone came around to take our drink order. I ordered a beer and my wife a glass of wine. When the wine arrived, my wife noticed that the glass had probably 2 1/2 ounces of wine in it. When someone else received their wine, the glass was filled like it should have been with 6 ounces of wine. 👎 We ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and after a long wait, they were served to us. The spring rolls were very good but my point here is the wait for the food when the restaurant had only a few patrons. We ordered our main courses and as before with the appetizers, we waited a long time but there were more customers by this time. My wife ordered her entree with a level 3 spiciness and mine with a 1 level spiciness. We ordered three main entrees and none of them had any taste and my wife’s did not have any spice. It was not hot in the least. We’ve been to both locations and the other location was polar opposite to this location. The other location had great service, great food and a very nice atmosphere. We WILL NOT be returning to this location!!👎👎

This place is so good that we went for dinner on Friday and I woke up Saturday morning craving it! We had sushi, Tom kha seafood soup, Papaya salad, crab Rangoon and the red curry. That soup was to die for! Honestly, everything was so delicious and the service was awesome as well.

My wife and I had a very unfortunate dining experience at Muji Thai in Bonita Springs while at the tail end of our vacation in Florida. The staff were all friendly and kind and the atmosphere was fantastic. However, after a few bites of our meals my wife pulled a bottle cap out of the soup she had ordered. We were both stunned by this, but the staff gave us a free soup, so we put it past us. Still, it tainted our meal. Even worse, however, was the food poisoning I received from my pad Thai. It felt a bit "Off" while I ate it, no doubt made worse by seeing the cap in my wife's meal. I became quite ill a few hours later, and am sick writing this review a few days later after visiting a clinic back home and receiving the diagnosis of food poisoning. This was the only meal I ate that day aside from some packaged snacks from the grocery store and bottled water. I have rarely, if ever left a negative review but felt compelled to do so as our dining experience was frankly unacceptable. I hope efforts are made so this doesn't happen to other diners.

After a day at the beach, I was craving Thai food. Muji has Thai and a whole lot more. I was feeling very indecisive and ended up with way too much food. The leftovers traveled home with me. I always get Thai iced tea when I go out for Thai food. Their's did not disappoint. My mind was set on chicken satay because my friend had been raving about some she tried elsewhere recently. Muji's chicken satay was all right. The chicken did not have the kind of char as I anticipated, and the peanut sauce was thicker than usual. Overall, it was good, but it did not live up to my chicken satay dreams. The Aka Dragon was gorgeous 😍 and delicious. I knew I had more food coming, so I had to refrain from finishing the whole roll. I'd definitely get this roll again, but I would also love to try their other rolls. Finally, I got the chicken Pad Ke Mao Noodles with 3 out of 5 star heat. They were good. I usually get Pad See Ew but like to change it up a bit every once in a while. The heat was as expected, but I think I'll stick with Pad See Ew.... or maybe try drunken noodles. The Pad Ke Mao was more bell pepper forward than I enjoyed. I had a long drive in front of me across Alligator Alley, so I refrained from trying the plum wine or sake. All of the rolls I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and there was someone waiting for several rolls to go. If you find yourself in Bonita Springs, I recommend Muji for Thai and Sushi rolls.
