Mr Wonton Chinese Restaurant, located at 2356 SE Green Oaks Blvd #182 in Arlington, Texas, is a well-established local dining option within the Chinese Restaurant category. Based on the available customer reviews, Mr Wonton has cultivated a loyal following over the years, suggesting a consistent delivery of quality food and service. While the name implies a focus on Chinese cuisine, it's noteworthy that the restaurant is owned and operated by Vietnamese individuals, a detail that might offer a unique perspective on their menu offerings.

One long-time customer mentions patronizing Mr Wonton since the owners' children were quite young, indicating a history within the community and a sense of familiarity and tradition. This reviewer specifically praises the "good Chinese food" and highlights the "pepper steak" as a consistently ordered and presumably well-executed dish. The fact that a customer has been returning for such an extended period speaks to the reliability and quality that Mr Wonton has maintained over time.

Another reviewer also corroborates the positive sentiment regarding the food, stating, "The food is really good here, and I come here often." This reinforces the idea that Mr Wonton is a preferred choice for Chinese cuisine among local residents. The reviewer does point out a key piece of information regarding the ownership, noting that the restaurant is Vietnamese-owned rather than Chinese. While the cuisine is categorized as Chinese, the culinary background of the owners might subtly influence the dishes offered or their preparation styles. This is an interesting detail for potential customers who might be curious about the nuances of the menu.

A specific feature mentioned by the second reviewer is the generous portioning of protein in their fried rice dishes. They state that "All fried rice meals have an adequate amount of whatever protein you select." This is a significant positive point, as it assures customers that their fried rice orders will not be skimpy on the main protein ingredient. The reviewer also shares a personal favorite, the "shrimp and beef combo," suggesting that Mr Wonton offers combination options that are well-received and satisfying.

The available reviews, while positive about the food quality and portions, do not provide specific details about the restaurant's environment or the services offered beyond the food itself. Similarly, there is no mention of any specific features that might set it apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area, such as unique dishes, special preparation methods, or particular dining options.

The food is really good here, and I come here often. The only downside is that they are Vietnamese and not Chinese. All fried rice meals have an adequate amount of whatever protein you select. I love shrimp and beef combo.

I purchased 2 combo plates, and they both were horrible. My son didn't eat his. His meal consisted of sweet and sour chicken. I purchased noodles separately. Waste of money. The other meal consisted of sesame chicken with fried rice. It was not enjoyable. I won't return. I wish I had taken pictures. 😪

We really enjoy eating take out. I grew up in Arlington and every weekend my parents would order take out from Mr Wonton. The only negative thing I can say about it has to do with the opening hours. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I believe they use to be open almost everyday of the week but they are also family focused...so the change in opening hours maybe so they can spend time with their family.
