Based on customer reviews, Mr. Felix is highly recommended for its delicious and freshly prepared food. First-time customers have raved about dishes like the egg roll, vegetable lo mein, pepper steak with onion, and shrimp with lobster sauce, noting the perfect seasoning and the satisfying spiciness of their hot chili oil. Many express a strong intention to return and explore more of the menu.
Beyond the food, Mr. Felix stands out for its exceptional customer service. Callers have highlighted the politeness and helpfulness of the staff answering the phone, a rare and appreciated experience. Their wings are described as "pretty, pretty, pretty good" with a consistently light and crispy batter. The shoestring fries are also a reliable choice. The shrimp meifun is another popular dish, praised for its taste, although some have wished for more shrimp, a detail that seems to have been addressed in subsequent orders where customers noted a more generous amount.
The establishment itself is reported to be clean and located in a safe area for pick-up. The counter service is particularly noteworthy, with a staff member described as cool, respectful, and easy to talk to, providing a welcoming experience that exceeds typical expectations for a Chinese restaurant.
Highly recommended items to try include their amazing chicken wings and the shrimp egg foo young, with the latter featuring light and crispy egg patties. While one customer noted a slight char on one patty that was masked by the gravy, they still found the dish enjoyable and would order it again. The rice is consistently cooked just right, and the gravy has a unique flavor that complements the egg and rice well.
Overall, Mr. Felix offers not only delicious and varied Chinese cuisine but also exceptional and friendly service in a clean environment, making it a highly recommended choice for local users.

First time ordering from Mr.Felix and will definitely not be the last. Everything hit the spot. I ordered an egg roll, vegetable lo mein, pepper steak with onion, and shrimp with lobster sauce. The food was hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The hot chili oil was spicy the way I like it. I canโt wait to try other dishes from the menu. Highly recommend! Compliments to the chef!
****UPDATE BELOW**** Today I ordered 4 wings w/ fries, a shrimp roll, and shrimp meifun via Uber Eats. Let me start by first complimenting the guy who answered the phone. It is rare that when you call a business establishment that they are actually polite and greet you back, and answer your question without giving you an attitude. Thanks bro, that alone made me want to give this restaurant a try. The wings were actually pretty good. At some stores, those wings can be a hit or miss; but these were pretty, pretty, pretty good. I like the shoestring French fries, they're always a good choice. The shrimp meifun was actually pretty good too! I must admit that they could have added more shrimp ๐ค into the meifun, but hey the taste of it was good. The noodles ๐ were cooked well, and the dish was not salty. Next time, I'll try a few more different items. Good work on the food ๐๐พ. ****UPDATE 9/19/2024**** Let's get into this service and food. I walked to the store today after placing an order over the phone for another shrimp meifun. I wanted to actually visit the store and see where i ordered from previously on uber eats. I wanted to see the establishment and it's clean, quite, nobody hanging on the corners, and it's safe to go in. I forgot to ask the guys name behind the counter, but the service was nothing you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. This guy was really cool, respectful, and easy to talk to. I mean no attitude, he's not rude or any angry person. I added two additional photos below to shop the shrimp meifun, which this time had more shrimp ๐๐พ. Guess what, on the second visit the food was still good. The noodles ๐ were cooked well, the vegetables had a good taste and crunch on them. The shrimp was plentiful and didn't have that funny shrimp taste. This is definitely going to be the Chinese store I go to from now on. On my next visit, I intend on trying the shrimp egg foo young with chicken wings. ****UPDATE 9/28/2024**** Today I ordered 4 chicken wings and a shrimp egg foo young. Let's get into these chicken wings right here. These chicken wings are amazing ๐๐พ. I also ordered some on 9/27/2024. The batter is light and the crisp on the wings is always consistent. I can find myself ordering these wings more often. The shrimp egg foo young was pretty good to be honest. The egg patties were light & crispy. One patty had a little char on it, but mixed with the gravy it masked the taste. The rice had a good cook on it, not over or under but just right. The gravy had a particular taste to it, but combined with the egg and rice it actually tasted even better ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ. The particular taste it had wasn't bad, it was just different. The thickness of the gravy was good too. All in all, I would order the egg foo young again, but ask to hold the char on the patty. As always going in to pick-up the food is always great. I have to ask the guys name who works the register, he's cool and we always have good conversation. โ๐พ
Tried this take out spot for the first time and it was really delicious! I got the shrimp and garlic sauce, shrimp and broccoli, and the shrimp lo mein. The sauces were really flavorful and the food felt fresh and high quality. Lo mein couldโve used a little more sauce but was otherwise great. Service was really friendly. Prices were absolutely phenomenal and made the experience by far worth it.
The owner might seem like a bit of an asshole over the phone, but in person, heโs cool as the other side of the pillow. He definitely wants his customers to have a good experience, listens to feedback, and tries to improve where he can. I also feel like if you had an issue with an order, heโd do his best to meet you halfway. I have ordered from here multiple times, and the food has always been good.
Some of the best fried rice and lo mein Iโve had. The fried wings are the best from any Chinese takeout in Philly period. Itโs a guarantee after trying the food especially the fried wings you will be back
