Mr bs soul food

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. This place was not bad at all. Came on a Sunday between 2pm-3pm (after church rush) and the restaurant was full, but the line was moving. No one behind the counter was rude. The food was fresh and the servings matched the prices. Catfish dinner and Turkey Chop dinner (grilled) were both bomb. The oxtails could've been better seasoned, but we'd definitely come back. The food was good overall and the interior was clean. Originally ordered on Doordash and had our order canceled so we came in person the next day and wasn't let down. Definitely missing out on a lot of revenue on Doordash by canceling orders. We spent a lot more in the app than in person.

Turkey chops were thin cutlets, dry, to much SALT, and grainy. Green beans has to much salt, weren’t cooked with any meat, and to SALTY! Mashed potatoes taste like boxed potatoes.

Good spot for take out if you are craving soul food. The food is flavored just how I like and they give fair portions. They have tone of options, my top 3 are the turkey chops, black-eyed peas and collards. Fair prices too.

I love the location in Inkster! Great staff and S/O to the Young lady that works the cashier, she is very nice! The Turkey Chops, Mac n Cheese, Yams Mixed Veggies is my favorite go-to meal there, so darn GOOD!

The food is to salty and it’s not fresh it looks and taste like it’s been sitting for days. They gave me one regular size chicken wing and four mini wings. I don’t like big chicken so the little ones would’ve been fine but they were hard overcooked and to tough to eat.
