About Moy Goy Inn

Moy Goy Inn is a Chinese restaurant located at 719 W Hillgrove Ave, La Grange, IL 60525, USA. They can be contacted at (708) 354-5992 or +1 708-354-5992.

According to customer reviews, Moy Goy Inn offers a range of Chinese dishes. One reviewer highlighted the delicious pepper steak, shrimp fried rice, and chow foon, particularly praising the chow foon as an excellent Pad Thai noodle dish with crisp vegetables and a mild sauce. This indicates a focus on fresh ingredients and flavorful cooking.

The restaurant has experienced changes in ownership, with the current owners being the third set in recent times. Previous owners, particularly the original ones, were known for a distinct flavor, possibly due to the use of well-seasoned woks and pans. While the current food is considered good, some customers note that it doesn't quite match the original flavor. There's also mention that fresh vegetables are being used, which is a positive aspect.

Customers have also noted that prices have increased, a factor attributed to general economic trends. Despite this, the quality of the food has been a consistent reason for ordering from Moy Goy Inn. For those in the La Grange area seeking Chinese cuisine, Moy Goy Inn offers a local dining option with a history and a variety of dishes. To get the latest information about their menu and pricing, it is best to call them directly.

I went here for dinner and took home pepper steak, shrimp fried rice and chow foon. All was delicious. Chow foon was the best Pad Thai noodles I’ve had so far. The veggies were crisp and the sauce was mild not too sweet. I would recommend coming here.

Food was hot! Original owners sold, new owners sold again recently. 3rd round of owners now in place. The original owners must have used the same woks and pans for the past 30 years. That flavor was LOCKED in to the food. Ordered today and it wasn’t bad but no one has been able to compete with the original. I think they’re still using fresh vegetables vs. flash frozen like owner #2 did. I’ll have to ask next time. Way more expensive than the original but everything’s going up. Price & Quality has been why I ordered in the past.

We’ve been going here for 25 + years. New owner Did Not get the previous owners recipes. We are disappointed in the orange chicken, no orange slices or sauce & it had pieces of broccoli & in a brown sauce? Kung Pow chicken was noting like it, no pow and a bunch of mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. They serve smaller portions & plastic containers. Please contact your uncle the previous owner for his recipes so we can come back. We tried twice.

Ive gone here for years. It's under new ownership now. They had a killer dish called Sha Cha Beef. Our friends would drive for miles to get carry out with us. Now it's totally different. Please contact the prior cook and get their recipe. I can't come back until it's fixed. Sorry, it was that good.

Some people can be haters and harassing this newly transferred owners. Everyone has their own taste, this is my taste and I would like to recommend everyone to try this new restaurant out. The service is great. The food is great. Just try it out and give it your personal tasting compare to other restaurants around the neighborhood.
