Customer reviews for Moon Star Restaurant present a stark contrast in experiences. One customer mentioned that while the shrimp portion might be small (understandable due to cost), the soup is "soooo good and yummy." However, they strongly advised against ordering the General Tso's shrimp, describing it as "horrible inedible hard over cooked."

Another customer had a highly negative experience with a recent order. They ordered a large Beef and Broccoli, Crab Rangoon, and a Sweet and Sour Chicken Combination meal. Despite specifically requesting no onions in the pork fried rice, it contained a significant amount. The chicken was described as "disgustingly soggy and just gross." The Beef and Broccoli was reported to have a horrible smell and was extremely greasy, leading the customer's boyfriend to fear food poisoning. He only tried a crab rangoon and was very upset, discarding the rest of the meal. The customer also woke up with stomach issues the following morning. Based on this experience, they strongly advised against ordering from Moon Star Restaurant and recommended another local establishment, New China Star.

Overall, reviews suggest that while some items like the soup at Moon Star Restaurant may be well-received, there are significant concerns regarding the quality of other dishes, including the General Tso's shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and beef and broccoli. Issues with order accuracy, such as the inclusion of onions despite a specific request, have also been reported. Local users should consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to order from Moon Star Restaurant.

I ordered from here last night and Highly ticked off... Let me start off and say I ordered LG Beef and Broccoli, Crab Rangoon and Sweet and Sour Chicken Combination meal. I asked them nicely not to put Onion's in the Pork Fried Rice, so much onions in it, the Chicken was disgustingly soggy and just gross. Now I have never seen my boyfriend so mad he usually shrugs his shoulders and say never again, his Beef and Broccoli had a horrible smell and when he looked at it under the light so much grease it was horrifying. He was so scared to eat it because of the smell he thought he might get food poisoning, he did try a crab rangoon and he just was cussing up a storm slamming everything into the garbage telling me I better not eat another freaking bite to be on the safe side. This morning I did wake up with stomach issues, so never ever are we ever going to order from here. Want My Advice Go To NEW CHINA STAR! We only went here because New China Star was closed.

Ordered coconut shrimp with broccoli and white rice. No idea what they think is coconut shrimp, they didn't used to fry it. It used to be a creamy white sauce coating. This looks and taste like they dipped it in a dull coconut candle and coated it with wax. Shrimp were decent size but over cooked, rubbery, and uncleaned. Wonton soup was delicious. Didn't get an egg roll with a meal? Used to be my favorite place. Not anymore.

I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021😂😂 either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.

Crab Rangoon’s do not have crab meat in it. They have finally chopped carrots. Terrible.Pork fried rice, no onions or bean sprouts very little pork. Boneless spareribs were thin strips they’ve gone downhill.. they used to be the best, not anymore
