About MOMO KINGG(Chin Chin)

MOMO KINGG (also known as Chin Chin), located at 2021 NJ-27, Somerset, NJ 08873, USA, offers a distinctive dining experience that blends street-style Chinese and Nepalese flavors. They can be contacted at (732) 960-1821 or +1 732-960-1821 for meal takeaway orders.

This establishment is described by one reviewer as a "wonderful place" to experience the taste of India's street halal Chinese cuisine. A personal favorite mentioned is the Chicken Schezwan Noodle and Steam MOMO, with the reviewer considering it a "Hidden Gem." The hard work and honesty of the lady running the establishment are also said to reflect in the taste of the food.

As the name suggests, MOMO KINGG is particularly renowned for its momo, a type of dumpling popular in Nepalese cuisine. One customer, a fan of Nepalese food, specifically praised their chicken momo, describing it as "perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor." The filling was noted to be well-seasoned and juicy, with a thin and delicate dough. The reviewer enjoyed it so much they ordered a second plate and highly recommended the chicken momo.

However, another dish, the fish chili, received a less favorable review. The customer found the fish to lack tenderness and the flavors to not harmonize as well as expected. While not considered a terrible dish, it did not meet the high standards set by the chicken momo.

A crucial point for those with a low tolerance for spice is to specify their preference when ordering, as the spicy dishes at MOMO KINGG are reported to be "exceptionally hot." Ordering mild or low-spicy options is strongly recommended for those sensitive to heat.

Overall, MOMO KINGG (Chin Chin) seems to be a place worth visiting, especially for their highly praised momo and the unique experience of street-style Chinese and Nepalese cuisine. Customers who enjoy flavorful noodles and are adventurous with their spice levels may also find dishes to their liking. However, it's advisable to communicate your spice preferences clearly when ordering.

As a fan of Nepalese cuisine, I was eager to try their renowned chicken momo, and I must say, it lived up to its reputation. These delightful dumplings were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The filling was well-seasoned and juicy, while the dough was thin and delicate. Each bite was a savory delight, and I couldn't help but order a second plate. The chicken momo at Momo King certainly deserves praise. But I must admit that I was slightly disappointed with their fish chili dish. The fish lacked the desired tenderness, and the flavors didn't quite harmonize as well as I had hoped. It wasn't a terrible dish by any means, but it fell short compared to the excellent chicken momo. Btw if you have a low tolerance for heat, it's crucial to specify your preference when ordering. In my case, I found their spicy dishes to be exceptionally hot. So, if you're not a fan of intense spice, I highly recommend ordering the mild or low-spicy options. I would definitely visit them again for their delicious momo.

Delicious Momo in New Jersey… no frills, nothing fancy about it… just really great dumplings made fresh-to-order! I’ve been craving Momo but have always been discouraged to dish big money at a place in NYC, the city that “has it all.” I was very surprised I had never stepped foot in this place that holds one of the many culinary treasures of South Asia. To be quite honest, this is the first time I’ve ever had Momo! I’ve been wanting to try out Momo since I saw it’s similarity to other dumplings I already eat, such as Soup Dumplings (小籠包.) I’m happy this was my first! Probably one of the best decorated storefronts within the food court of South Asian delights, Momo Kingg’s inviting design and unblocked view of the action of making these wonderful dumplings that make me want to return in the case of a craving for dumplings. The stuffing within each dumpling was flavourful and the side of spicy sauces or hot chili oil compliment the delicious dumplings. The Gobi Manchurian pretty much finished the crave I had for the evening, but their Momo really is their top-notch specialty!

The fried veg momos was full of oil with no taste and no-one liked them. Not sure about other items. Hopefully they will improve the quality of momos.

Delicious momos and indo-chinese dishes! Loved the chilly chicken! The price is super reasonable. As it's a small sitting area, generally i prefer take out from this place.
