MoCA Asian Bistro

I have not been to a restaurant since December 2021 but decided to get out a little last weekend. Got there around 3pm and there was just one other group of diners, so the restaurant was quiet and very clean. Servers were super polite and quick as well. Loved the food! The Mongolian chicken was excellent, I loved the amount of veggies included and the halibut itself was great- but for me the sauce was just too sweet. If you're a chocolate lover, the chocolate cake was deliciously rich and slice was reasonable to not be overwhelming. Overall great dining experience-definitely plan to return :)

The spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and miso soup are very delicious, though on the small portion side, sort of as an appetizer to be mindful. The restaurant atmosphere is also allruring inside for a birthday brunch with friends or for a celebratory event. Definitely, I would come again for order to go or get together with friends and family. Miso soup is very soothing, and sushi tastes fresh and appetizing. Must have experience at this location!👌

What a fall from grace… My wife and I would venture out from queens to come to the Woodbury location. We did love it the first few times but this last time was the end for us. We were seated in a booth that was falling apart, the seats were destroyed. We get our waters and then sit waiting for 15-20 minutes. It was not busy in there waiters passed us a couple times. A family came in and sat at a table across from us. They had their drinks ordered and dropped off fast and we still were waiting for anyone to come to our table. Once we saw a waitress go to their table to take their order we got up and left. On our way out the host said “have a good night!” As if he forgot he sat us 20 minutes ago LOL The food has been always alright the atmosphere was good but after this experience we’re not coming back. We actually went to the Italian place at the end of the shopping center Butera which was amazing. We told the host what happened he turned out to be the manager and sat us asap even though it was packed. The owner came up to us personally it was an overall great time and saved our date night. Sorry MoCA. Swing and a miss.

Great food and drinks! Pricier than I like but a great experience. A friend and I went after work and loved it! We need to go back during happy hour. The kani salad was complemented with some crunch (maybe tempora?) and lettuce, different from what I'm used to but I enjoyed it. And the spicy Thai lemongrass soup was just what I needed because I was feeling a little chilly. I also had the combo dinner sushi and it all tasted fresh and good. They had so many great looking options that I need to go back. Overall, great experience!

I’ve been to the Forest Hills branch and I must say this branch is way better. I still have to try the one is Hewlett but this place is more spacious and the food is much better too! I came here with my family for lunch and the service is amazing! My parents are quite picky when it comes to food but they really loved it here! I’d definitely would come back here!
