No exaggeration… best Peking Duck I’ve had in my life. We had the 6 course dinner that was a surprise with every dish. Innovative, complex and a delight to the senses. Not a mystery why they have earned a Michelin star. Service was impeccable and served with passion for the food. ALDA was incredible ! She was knowledgeable, worldly and her love for this establishment and its products showed through. We had to ask Ethan to come to the table so we could express our gratitude. Fantastic food, hospitality and artistry.
The servers went above and beyond for giving us a great anniversary. The food was pretty good, but it was a bit steep for the price. A lot of the dishes were creative. Depending on the seating location, the background noise can be very loud at sometimes.
A hybrid of fine dining and casual restaurant in SF China town with a Michelin star. Lovely tasting menu with 6 dishes plus more. Particularly delightful in the Ham sui gwok (鹹水角) unlike any in dim sum restaurant, the different ways of cooking the squab, and the lamb meat. The servers are attentive and hospitable. We recommend reservations but if you want to try your luck, visit early, between 5pm and 5:30pm, you may get a bar table without a reservation. It is way more pricey compared to other Chinese dinners nearby. It makes a special dinner for special occasions. We plan to come back to try out its Peking duck.
Incredibly creative and delicious Chinese fine dining experience that rightfully deserves its Michelin star. Attentive and welcoming service, sat immediately without a reservation on a busy lunar new year weekend evening. Fermented cabbage is a flavorful arrangement, scallion milk bread is a creative take on a familiar comfort, wok fried rice is unique and delicious, silken mapo tofu dish is creative and delicate. Perfectly executed whiskey and gin cocktails. Every part of the meal was worthy of being remembered and coming back for, replacing our other disappointing Michelin dining experience in Chicago.
Amazing dinner experience at Mister Jui’s! We had the six course dinner with the low-abv wine pairing and it was delicious! Our waiter and the whole restaurant staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking is a pain, but that’s no surprise for SF. Will definitely be back to try their spring or summer menu!
