Miss Wonton

I recently ordered takeout from Miss Wonton, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Fernando! From the moment I placed my order, he was incredibly helpful and attentive. When I arrived to pick up my order, Fernando greeted me with a warm smile and ensured everything was packed perfectly. The food was delicious, and it was clear that he takes pride in his work. Thank you, Fernando, for your amazing service! I can't wait to order again soon!

The food was legit awesome when they first opened. Today, we got the same dishes and it couldn’t be worse. Bland and cheap tasting whereas before it was saturated and rich. It feels like they either switched kitchen crews or substituted cheaper ingredients. It’s really sad because I was excited to go back after having such a great experience the first time.

This takeout place is connected to Kossar’s Bagels & Bialys. The house special spicy chicken wontons are actually not spicy so better take extra packets of hot sauce. The pan fried pork dumplings are best eaten immediately as they lose their crunch in transit. The total for the 2 items was $20.58, tax included, which seemed a bit much for dumplings. Efficiency needs to be improved; the order took 18 minutes to be fulfilled.

I order from Miss Wonton all the time and their service is always delightful, the food is delicious, and fast, and it’s one of the only places you can get gluten free Chinese food!

I just ordered a large wonton soup and an egg roll and this took an extremely long time. I thought a bag was my order and when the order taker/server Fernando F which I think was his name said it was not and I only said to myself wow how long does a wonton soup take he said oh so do you want your money back? I said no I never said that I was just surprised it took so long. He proceeded to say I was being nasty which I was not mind you an Asian lady before me asked twice how much time because her meal was taking long and he spoke to her nicely. I am a person of color but he was shocked when I spoke to him in Spanish and he continued to be nasty to me. I work in the area in the area and I will make sure to spread the word that the person that takes the order is nasty but only to certain customers that look like me. This was my first experience and I will NEVER return.
