About Miss U Food Bar

Miss U Food Bar, situated at 2406 Kūhiō Ave. Ste 102 in Honolulu, Hawaii, presents itself as a Chinese Restaurant that offers affordable meal options in the Waikiki area. Located in the heart of Honolulu, HI 96815, Miss U Food Bar can be contacted at (808) 818-8592 or their mobile number +1 808-818-8592 for inquiries or to place orders, primarily catering to takeout and delivery through platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, the limited reviews suggest a menu that may extend beyond traditional Chinese cuisine, aiming to provide budget-conscious meals for the Waikiki locale.

Based on the available customer feedback, the environment of Miss U Food Bar is not explicitly described. However, one reviewer referred to the meal as "pretty basic," suggesting that the establishment might prioritize functionality and affordability over elaborate ambiance. Given its presence in Waikiki, a popular tourist destination known for higher prices, a focus on providing budget-friendly options likely influences the restaurant's setup. It's conceivable that the space is geared towards efficient service for takeout and delivery orders, possibly with limited seating for dine-in customers seeking a quick and inexpensive meal.

The services offered by Miss U Food Bar prominently include takeout and delivery, as indicated by the mentions of orders placed through Uber Eats and DoorDash. This suggests that convenience is a key aspect of their service model, catering to both residents and tourists in the Waikiki area who may prefer to eat in their accommodations or on the go. The promptness and reliability of these delivery services are not detailed in the provided reviews, but the availability of these options expands the restaurant's reach beyond its physical location.

One of the main features highlighted in the reviews is the affordability of Miss U Food Bar, particularly in the context of Waikiki's typically higher prices. A customer who ordered through Uber Eats mentioned a "great bargain" due to a "two for one deal" on spicy shrimp with crispy chicken, resulting in two plates for $20, which was described as "unheard of in Waikiki nowadays." This suggests that promotional deals and competitive pricing might be a strategy employed by Miss U Food Bar to attract customers looking for value. This focus on providing more affordable options could be a significant draw for budget-conscious diners in the area.

However, not all customer experiences have been positive. Another review detailed a breakfast order placed through DoorDash that resulted in considerable dissatisfaction. The meal consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon, a coffee, and a banana smoothie. According to the reviewer, the bacon was undercooked, as were the pancake and the eggs, leading to the entire meal being discarded. The reviewer did not try the coffee, but the overall experience with the breakfast order was negative, raising concerns about the quality and preparation of certain menu items. This feedback indicates a potential inconsistency in food quality or preparation standards that prospective customers should be aware of.

The limited information makes it challenging to ascertain other features of Miss U Food Bar's offerings. The menu seems to include a mix of items, potentially spanning beyond traditional Chinese cuisine to cater to a broader range of tastes, as evidenced by the availability of breakfast items like pancakes, eggs, and bacon, alongside dishes like spicy shrimp and crispy chicken. Without a comprehensive menu or more detailed descriptions of their culinary style, it's difficult to pinpoint specific specialties or unique offerings. The focus appears to be more on providing a variety of meal types at a competitive price point for the Waikiki area.

In terms of promotional information, the "two for one deal" mentioned in one review for the spicy shrimp with crispy chicken is the only specific promotion noted. This suggests that Miss U Food Bar may occasionally offer special deals or discounts through delivery platforms to attract customers. However, there is no consistent or detailed information about ongoing promotions or popular menu items being offered at a discount.

In conclusion, Miss U Food Bar in Waikiki offers a potentially budget-friendly option for meals, particularly for takeout and delivery. The "two for one deal" reported by one customer highlights the possibility of finding good value, which can be appealing in the often expensive Waikiki area. However, a concerning review detailing undercooked breakfast items raises questions about the consistency and quality of their food preparation across all menu items. While the restaurant may serve as a convenient and affordable choice for some, especially those utilizing delivery services and taking advantage of promotions, potential customers should be aware of the mixed feedback regarding food quality. Further investigation into their current menu and recent reviews might be beneficial before placing an order.

It’s a pretty basic meal not the fanciest but a great bargain for Waikiki. I ordered though Uber eats and got the spicy shrimp with crispy chicken under a two for one deal. It was $20 for two plates, which is unheard of in Waikiki nowadays.

Ordered breakfast through Door dash. Pancake, egg and bacon with a coffee and banana smoothie - you can see from the pics but the bacon is undercooked, so is the pancake and the eggs...well, yea - I tossed it all. Never tried the coffee

I had the fried rice with tofu. The food was made fresh and very hot. It had a good flavor and portion, but I couldn't finish it bc I was disgusted by a piece of hair I found 😵‍💫
