Customer Reviews
Dim Sum dinner fun with friends and family in a cool atmosphere with a variety of food choices to please our whole crowd from tried and true traditional dishes to bold new discoveries. The place was packed but service was quick and our food and drinks were tasty and would definitely go back again for another fun experience.
We arrived on a Sunday night, and we had a 30-minute wait with no reservations. The customer service was good even with a slight language barrier. It's a nice traditional spot with a sprinkle of cute Asian influences throughout the restaurant. I ordered the fried noodles and the pork bun. I wasn't a big fan of the pork bun, but I did enjoy the main dish. The portion size is huge and enough to feed 3. It was full of beef and fresh veggies. It actually tasted better the next day. The flavors didn't really activate until it sat in the fridge for a bit. It was the same situation with my friends' veggie fried rice. It lacked flavor on day 1, but on day 2, it was a winner dish.
Stopped in after the lighting on Michigan. The restaurant was busy, but not too crowded. We were seated upstairs. We ordered several items. The noodles and wonton soup were delicious! The ordering is a bit confusing-3 menus, two paper and 1 electronic. Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!
They were really busy, they also stay open pretty late which was nice. We waited for about 15 minutes. The food came out fairly quick. We ordered a few things off the dim sum menu. Everything was pretty standard. I did have two issues at this location, First, is that I notified the wait staff of my mushroom allergy and they let me know the items I ordered did not have any in it. However, as you may see in the pic, there is a piece of mushroom. Second, is that they have a pretty bad gnat issue here.. which you can see a couple of them landed on my plate. Not something I want to see while I’m eating. My fav was the pork belly that you dip in sugar, the skin was nicely crisp. I probably will not be back, because also I went to their Naperville location and found a piece of hair on my food as well. Food is not terrible, but the hygiene needs work.
Open at 8am on weekends, we got dim sum first thing in the morning. No lines and no wait at 9am. The restaurant has tons of space, and lots of servers. We ordered off the dimsum menu (no carts) and food came pretty quick. The food was decent, and i enjoyed the ambiance. Some of the dishes didn't taste freshly made, could have been reheated better.
