About Ming Yuan Restaurant

Ming Yuan Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located at 3006 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127, USA. You can contact them at (305) 576-6466 or +1 305-576-6466.

Customer reviews for Ming Yuan Restaurant present starkly contrasting experiences. One reviewer reported a highly disturbing incident of finding a roach in their food while dining at the restaurant. They described the establishment as "filthy" and "not sanitize," and expressed extreme disappointment with the dismissive reaction of the staff when the issue was brought to their attention. This customer, who stated they had been a patron for years, indicated they would be reporting the restaurant to the city due to the unsanitary conditions and poor customer service.

Conversely, another customer had a very positive experience, describing the food as "absolutely delicious." They specifically recommended the chicken lo mein and the honey garlic chicken. While they noted that the boneless spare rib was chewy, they found the meat itself to be very tasty. This reviewer praised the great prices and the generous amount of food, stating it was well worth the cost and that Ming Yuan Restaurant would become their new go-to Chinese place.

Given these significantly different accounts, local users should be aware of the potential for both positive and negative experiences at Ming Yuan Restaurant. While some customers appreciate the taste, value, and portion sizes of certain dishes, there is also a serious concern raised regarding hygiene and customer service by another reviewer. It is advisable for potential customers to consider these contrasting opinions when making their decision.

Do not I repeat, do not eat from this filthy place while eating my plate at the restaurant I found a roach in my food. I have never ever experienced such a thing. The crazy part is when I told the two ladies that work there to come see my plate they acted as if they didn’t see the roach in my food. They were both looking clueless and making all these faces as if I’m in the wrong and they’re right, I’ve been coming here for years and just the thought of it makes me wanna throw up . This place is dirty filthy, and definitely not sanitize. I will be calling the city and reporting them because it’s just not right and instead of making things better when I showed them the plate they made it worse by acting like they didn’t see the roach and asking me where did it come from. Also, the customer service sucks they definitely don’t know how to treat there customers.

This place is absolutely delicious!! I give it a 4 star only because the boneless spare rib was very chewy but the meat part was very tasty. If your in the mood for good Chinese food this is the spot. The prices are great and for the amount of food you get it is very well worth it. I can say my favorite part was the chicken lo mein and the honey garlic chicken. This will be our new go to Chinese place.

If you are looking for a small, affordable place to get your fix. Get the special rice bucket, and you can have fried rice for leftovers! I didn't order a protein. Once I do, I will recommend if it as good as their fried rice!

I ordered small lowmain with a small order of fries. What I got was microwaved lowmain It was just warm and was covered with soy sauce which made it very bad tasting. The fries were also not fresh. They were hard, and ice cold. I was told by the manager she will not give back my money or replace the order. This is a place to avoid! Unless you want to pay top dollar for bad food. This order was thrown out with the rest of the garbage. Money was stolen Barry

I ordered the Szechuan chicken which comes with ham fried rice on the dinner menu. The Szechuan chicken was wonderful but the ham fried rice was horrible. I've had Rice-A-Roni right out of the box which was more enjoyable, and I mean right out of the box - not cooked. I also ordered "Potstickers" for an appetizer and I asked that they not be too crispy. They came out way overdone and, to be honest, I have had frozen potstickers from the grocery store which were far better. The place is small, it has only two tables, and it is dingy and dirty. Through no fault of the restaurant there was a gathering of panhandlers who would continue to stare through the window while we tried to eat our dinner. Situated just on the fringe of the Wynwood area in Miami, it's a very run-down neighborhood. On a more positive note, the young lady who took our order was very polite and I can honestly say that customer service was top-notch. Also the portions were large and the prices are very reasonable. I might order again from them, since everybody can have an "off day" but I would have it delivered I would not eat at the restaurant again.
