The restaurant boasts an enormous dim sum menu with approximately 100 dishes, alongside a large but not overwhelming menu of entrees. Customers consistently report that everything is very good. A notable feature is the presence of live seafood on site, including fish, eels, lobsters, and crabs, indicating the freshness of their seafood offerings.

The environment of Ming Seafood Restaurant is described as a good hall with a bar area, two semi-private spaces, and a raised dias. The space is bright and well-kept, and was observed to be decorated for Christmas at the time of one review. The food quality is consistently praised, with reviewers noting that dishes are not excessively salty. The beef tenderloin is described as tender and flavorful, and the vegetables as toothsome. Even milder dishes like the mapo tofu are considered good, and the clay pot dishes are very well done. One reviewer mentioned trying over a dozen dishes and found everything to be as it should be.

Specific dishes highlighted in reviews include the steamed shrimp rice rolls (delicately smooth with juicy shrimp), chicken feet (tender and flavorful in a rich sauce), siu mai (plump and juicy pork and shrimp), pig intestines (crispy and flavorful), and fish porridge (rich, creamy, and brimming with fresh fish).

Excellent Cantonese mainstay for big meals, banquets, and dim sum standards. Enormous dim sum menu of approximately 100 dishes. Large but not overwhelmingly so menu of entrees. Everything very good. Live fish, eels, lobsters, and crabs on site. Good hall with a bar area, two semi private spaces, raised dias. Bright and well kept. Decorated for Christmas. Broad storefront in strip mall with huge grocery and ample parking. Not excessive in any direction, especially if packed for dimsum. Helpful staff, large portions, fair prices. Large order came out quickly at a slow part of the evening. Everything was as it should be. Nothing excessively salty. Beef tender and flavorful. Vegetables toothsome. Mapo tofu mild, but still good. Clay pot very nicely done. Tried a dozen dishes or more. Highly recommended, especially if you like Cantonese food and hate surprises.

Ming Seafood Restaurant in Quincy, Boston, delivers an unforgettable dim sum experience that will leave any food lover in awe. The moment you walk in, the lively atmosphere and the fragrant aroma of freshly prepared dim sum instantly transport you to the heart of a traditional Chinese dining hall. Their steamed shrimp rice rolls are a must try delicately smooth and filled with perfectly cooked, juicy shrimp, enveloped in a silky rice roll that melts in your mouth. The chicken feet, a classic dim sum delicacy, are tender and packed with flavor, braised in a rich sauce that elevates the dish. The siu mai is another highlight each bite is a heavenly combination of plump, juicy pork and shrimp, seasoned to perfection. For the adventurous, the pig intestines are a revelation crispy, flavorful, and surprisingly addictive, showcasing expert preparation and deep, bold flavors. It’s a perfect balance of flavor and texture, offering a light yet deeply satisfying dish. This is a place where every dish is crafted with care, and every visit is memorable.

Not very busy on the Monday when we visited. Service was very average. No smile, no eye contact, not engaging. Topical Chinese restaurant protocol! Food is also very average. Not bad, but nothing worth of mention!

When they opened, this place had great dim sum. however now it is absolutely atrocious. We spent $100 on dim sum for 3. Seasoning was not existent, food was either soggy, over fried or dry like shoe leather. So sad that there is no decent dim sum in Quincy. But the food here is especially disgusting. I will purposefully avoid this place at all costs.

It is busy during the weekends for Dim Sum. Hostess will seat you as soon as tables become available. Food is fresh and delishes. I grew up in Malaysia and we use Tim Cheong sauce and chilly sauce. I knew they won’t have that so I brought my own which brought back nostalgia of Malaysian Dim Sum. Their BBQ pork buns look nice and pretty but the filling and bbq ratio was off. Their shrimp rice roll was a bit rough and not as smooth as I liked it. But their Har Kow and Siu Mai was nice and meaty. Their black bean ribs was good but wish there was more black bean when added to steam. Chicken feet with black bean was good. The bean curd sheet roll with minced pork and shrimp in oyster sauce was on point.
