About Ming's

Welcome to Ming's, a highly regarded establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, located at 2653 Pleasant Hill Rd in Pleasant Hill, California. Described by patrons as a "great spot for Chinese food" and a "little gem," Ming's appears to be a popular choice for local users seeking authentic and flavorful Asian cuisine. Situated in Pleasant Hill, it offers a convenient location for residents and visitors to enjoy a variety of well-received dishes.

Based on customer reviews, Ming's seems to offer a pleasant dining environment. One reviewer noted a short wait of 3 to 5 minutes upon arriving towards the end of the lunch rush, suggesting that the restaurant can get busy, indicating its popularity. Another reviewer mentioned that the atmosphere was "surprisingly relaxing" during their visit. However, another experience noted that the restaurant could be very noisy due to a large group, specifically a birthday party. This suggests that while Ming's generally offers a pleasant ambiance, it can become lively and potentially noisy during peak times or when hosting large events. It's advisable for those seeking a quieter dining experience to perhaps inquire about the restaurant's occupancy levels when making plans to visit.

Ming's primarily offers dine-in services, allowing customers to enjoy their meals in the restaurant's setting. The availability of takeout is also implied, as finding a "little gem while shopping in the area" often suggests the convenience of taking food to go. While delivery options are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, it is common for restaurants to offer takeout, and it might be worth contacting Ming's directly at (925) 934-9393 or +1 925-934-9393 to inquire about the full range of their services, including potential delivery through third-party platforms. The service at Ming's is generally described as "fast and attentive" by one reviewer. However, another reviewer noted that the service was "friendly if a bit slow," likely due to the restaurant accommodating a large birthday party. This indicates that service quality might be influenced by the restaurant's busyness.

A key feature of Ming's is the consistently praised quality and flavor of their food. Customers have specifically highlighted several dishes as being exceptional. The BBQ pork chow mein, house fried rice, and salt and pepper fish were ordered by one patron who opted for dinner portions, suggesting that Ming's offers both lunch and dinner options with potentially different portion sizes. The fried rice was described as "light and fluffy," indicating a well-prepared staple dish. The ginger chicken received high marks, with a "crispy" coating and "tender and juicy" chicken inside, and the flavors were described as "popped," signifying a well-seasoned and delicious dish. Another popular appetizer is the crab bites, which were shared and enjoyed by a customer during a lunch visit. The overall consensus is that Ming's serves food that is "fresh and delicious," making it a reliable choice for those craving high-quality Chinese cuisine.

The menu at Ming's appears to be diverse, offering a range of classic and perhaps some specialty Chinese dishes. The mentions of BBQ pork chow mein, house fried rice, and salt and pepper fish suggest a selection of familiar favorites. The inclusion of crab bites and ginger chicken indicates that Ming's also offers unique and well-executed dishes that go beyond the standard fare. The positive feedback on the freshness and flavor of these items underscores the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and skillful preparation. Local users can likely expect a menu with a variety of options to suit different tastes and preferences within the realm of Chinese cuisine.

Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any specific information about ongoing promotional offers or special menu items at Ming's. However, the consistent positive feedback and the restaurant's growing reputation, as suggested by the "hype is real" comment, likely serve as a strong draw for local customers. To inquire about any potential current promotions, seasonal dishes, or lunch specials, it is recommended to contact Ming's directly using the provided phone numbers or by visiting their location at 2653 Pleasant Hill Rd in Pleasant Hill. Engaging with the restaurant directly will provide the most up-to-date information on their offerings and any special deals that might be available.

In conclusion, Ming's in Pleasant Hill stands out as a highly recommended Chinese restaurant praised for its fresh and delicious food, including standout dishes like the BBQ pork chow mein, house fried rice, salt and pepper fish, crab bites, and ginger chicken. Great spot for Chinese food. Found this little gem while shopping in the area. We had a short wait, 3 to 5 minutes, when arriving towards the end of the lunch rush. Once seated we opted for dinner portions of BBQ pork chow mein, house fried rice, and salt and pepper fish. Service was fast and attentive.

Finally made it to Mings! Went for lunch, the hype is real. We shared the crab bites, ginger chicken and some fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious. The fried rice was light and fluffy, the ginger chicken coating was crispy and the chicken tender and juicy. Flavors popped. My atmosphere rating is because the restaurant was very noisy due to a very large birthday party, so hopefully when I go to try other items it will be quieter. Service was friendly if a bit slow (likely because of the big group).

We’ve been to many Chinese restaurants after living around the country and this little gem is definitely the best, that goes for the food and service. We’re impressed every time we dine in here, the food quality is consistent and delicious, and the service is some of the best I’ve experienced in any restaurant. Highly recommend!
