Based on recent customer feedback, the dining experience at Ming's Garden appears to be somewhat inconsistent. One reviewer described their visit as "sad and depressing," noting that they were the only customer in the restaurant during a Saturday lunch. This observation could suggest periods of low customer traffic. The same reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with the service, stating that the server frequently left the dining area to go to the back and rarely checked on them.

Furthermore, this particular customer was highly critical of the food quality. They mentioned that their dish contained an excessive amount of celery, which they found unfavorable. They went as far as to suggest that alternative fast-food Chinese options might have been preferable. Adding to their negative experience, they noted that the food was served on a paper plate and that the restaurant's bathrooms were out of order, raising concerns about the overall maintenance and facilities of the establishment. This reviewer strongly advised others not to waste their time visiting Ming's Garden, questioning the restaurant's ability to remain in business given the perceived low food quality.

However, another recent customer presented a contrasting view, expressing a positive experience. This reviewer, who admitted to being generally hesitant about trying new Chinese food, found Ming's Garden to be "definitely one of the better places to try." They placed a substantial order that was prepared 10 minutes ahead of the estimated time, indicating efficient service for takeout orders. A specific highlight for this customer was the cheese wontons, which they described as "super good" due to a balanced ratio of crunchy exterior and cream cheese filling. They also noted that the food remained "super hot" upon arrival at their home, suggesting effective packaging for takeout. Overall, this reviewer found their experience to be "SO good" and "definitely worth the money."

The contrasting reviews make it challenging to form a definitive picture of the current state of Ming's Garden. The negative review points to potential issues with food quality for certain dishes, in-house service, and facility maintenance. The positive review, on the other hand, praises the takeout service, the quality of specific items like the cheese wontons, and the overall value. This discrepancy suggests that experiences at Ming's Garden may vary.

Given the limited information, we cannot provide a detailed description of the restaurant's environment or ambiance. The negative review alludes to a potentially uninviting atmosphere due to the lack of customers and the issues with facilities. However, the positive review focuses solely on the takeout experience, offering no insights into the dine-in setting.

Similarly, the provided reviews do not offer any information about specific services such as delivery options or catering. The positive review highlights efficient takeout service, but whether delivery is available remains unknown. To ascertain the full range of services offered by Ming's Garden, it would be best to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers.

Furthermore, there is no mention of any promotional offers, discounts, or special deals in the available reviews. To inquire about any current promotions or to learn more about their menu and pricing, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

In conclusion, Ming's Garden in Minneapolis presents a mixed picture based on the limited recent customer feedback. While one reviewer reported a negative dine-in experience with concerns about food quality, service, and facilities, another customer had a very positive experience with their takeout order, particularly praising the speed and quality of certain dishes like the cheese wontons. Without further information, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive and definitive introduction. Potential customers may want to consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to visit or order from Ming's Garden and perhaps inquire directly about current conditions and offerings.

A sad and depressing restaurant. Went in for lunch on Saturday and was the only person in the restaurant. Server kept leaving to go to the back and rarely checked on us. The food was horrible. For whatever reason they felt the need to add in a pound of celery into my dish. I would have been better off going to Leeann Chin or Panda Express. Food was also served on a paper plate. There was also a sign that said the bathrooms were out of order. Like really? Don’t waste your time coming here. I don’t know how they can stay in business with food quality this low.

I'm always scared to try new Chinese food but this is definitely one of the better places to try. I ordered a good amount and it was all done 10 min earlier than I was expecting. The cheese wonton are super good because there is an equal amount of crunchy and cream cheese. Everything was still super hot when I got home. Overall, SO good and definitely worth the money!

I gave it a two star, only because it WAS hot when it arrived. If it was cold it would be a 1. I ordered the sesame chicken. The rice is dry and crunchy, good thing my teeth are strong. I asked for it extra spicy and it’s sweeter, almost overpowering. The price you pay is not worth it. They don’t seem to take pride in their food. It could be really good if they did.

This is so underrated. I just discovered this restaurant today. More natural than any other Chinese in Twin Cities. The sauce in stir fry dishes is not glossy indigestible high fructose corn syrup, but tastes like made from scratch. Mild taste so very kid friendly. Recommend if you want it spicy, tell them so they add more Chilli peppers.

Very solid experience. Ordered the Egg rolls and the Sesame Chicken. I was very impressed with the food, the chicken was crispy and the sauce was complex. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience. It was not the fanciest or most upscale, but I was pleasantly surprised considering past reviews.
