Customer reviews for Ming's Asian Kitchen in Marietta offer mixed opinions on the food and service. One customer who had frequently driven by finally decided to try it and was pleased to find "SPICY sesame chicken" on the menu, which they described as "perfect" and "some of the best sesame chicken" they had ever had, expressing their intention to return to try other menu items.

Another customer who found the place last minute also tried the spicy sesame chicken, which was recommended by the person taking their order. They noted it had "good flavors" but was "on the soggy side." They also ordered basil chicken, which they found to be "ok," and Spicy Nasi Goreng Indonesian Fried Rice, which was also rated as "OK." This reviewer gave an overall rating of 3 stars, citing two negative aspects: the restaurant reportedly does not accept debit cards, which they found "weird," and they observed another woman at the bar, possibly a worker or owner, who was "not friendly."

Based on these reviews, Ming's Asian Kitchen in Marietta has some standout dishes like the spicy sesame chicken, which can be highly enjoyable for some. However, consistency might be an issue, as one customer found it soggy. Other dishes like the basil chicken and spicy nasi goreng were considered average. A notable inconvenience is the reported policy of not accepting debit cards, and there is also a mention of unfriendly staff. Potential customers may want to inquire about payment methods beforehand and be aware of the mixed feedback on food consistency and staff demeanor.

We had driven by this restaurant so many times but finally decided to give it a try. Once i saw SPICY sesame chicken on the menu i knew we had made the right decision. The spicy seasme chicken was perfect, honestly some of the best seasme chicken I have had. We will be back test out other items on their menu.

Found this place at the very last minute. We tried spicy sesame chicken, which was highly recommended by the lady who took my order. It had good flavors, but it was on the soggy side. I ordered basil chicken, and it was ok. I ordered Spicy Nasi Goreng Indonesian Fried Rice, which was OK. Overall, it was good. I gave 3 stars cause the lady said they do not take debit cards, which was weird. There was another lady sitting at the end of the bar, she was either a worker or owner, but she wasn't friendly.

For a couple of years now Mom (age 93) and I met at the restaurant, always at 12:30, for lunch. I estimate we lunched there 8-9 times. On this Saturday we were the only patrons in the restaurant throughout our roughly 40 minute meal (there was one to-go order pick-up during out meal). We finished eating and Mom was enjoying another cup of tea when two men roll out two buckets and start mopping the floor, starting by the front door and working their way toward out table. The chemical odor was strong and so we felt the need to leave. Obviously management wanted us out of the restaurant. Why not mop the floor before lunchtime? Why not wait another 5-10 minutes until your ONLY patrons leave (you'd have 3+ hours to mop prior to early-dinner diners)? Strange. So Mom and I decided to never again eat at Ming's. The food had been okay for the price. Wanton soup could have been served hotter and I would have preferred a less sauce on the chicken w/veggies entree, but the food is not the reason for moving on from Ming's.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews you see here. The restaurant is below average for the food, service and atmosphere. On a Thursday we had to wait 15 mins for us to get service, we ordered Red Curry and it had no curry, when asked we were told it’s thick coconut base sauce below the vegetables, our spicy eggplant had more sauce than the curry but was sweet, nothing spicy about it. The drunken noodles were unlike I have had anywhere, usually it’s flat spicier noodles, but these were sour, basil fried rice was too much soy sauce and little taste of basil. They didn’t bring white rice that should have been given, and we had to go and call the server. We also had to go and get to go box for left overs and check. All this despite having only us and another table occupied. The decor inside is pretty average to worn down. So all in all AVOID this restaurant, there are many more nearby that are sooo much better

The reputation is strong here and lived up to the hype. We’ve had several people recommend this place and found a time to visit. Order drunken Thai noodles and was full of flavors!
