Ming Room

I have ordered from Ming Room many times, and they have never disappointed me. Their weekday lunch specials are very filling and delicious. We went here tonight and got their “dinner for 6” and we all loved it. It’s a really good value, you get to pick from many dishes, and it includes deserts as well.

PICTURES ARE GREAT, FOOD IS NOT! Went here for dinner on a Sunday night. Ordered the veggie spring roll, chilly fish and Ming special noodles. Felt like everything was extra greasy. Fish was over-cooked. Tabletop was sticky and felt gross. Noodles was the only thing I kinda liked cause it was smokey. I realized the food looks great in pictures but doesn’t taste as good. Chilly fish came with sticky rice. Much better Hakka places out there - this isn’t one of them.

Went in for the lunch special after many years and was not disappointed. I got the chilli beef lunch, upgraded the rice and got a spring roll alongside. They make a killer hot sauce and the food tastes wonderfully ‘burnt’ as it had been nicely cooked in a wok on high heat - this is a flavour I cannot duplicate at home and I will certainly return again soon!

This is one of the first places in Mississauga that I loved for Hakka Chinese food. Now they serve different cuisines and all Halal menu. Their beef with scallions and green chili is bomb, melts in your mouth and spot on flavors. Manchurian chicken was okay, too much cilantro. Szechuan chicken was also perfect. Chopsuey is a total no as it is super sweet. Nice bright place with great food and service!

We always go to this place for the main reason that my boyfriend loves their chili chicken. He’s been coming here for 15 years now. Today he realized, he’s favorite chili chicken somehow changed the texture how it was cook from before. It’s not as crunchy as it was. And he was disappointed. Hope they would cook it same as the way it was before because we drove far just to enjoy his favorite food. I had also Tomyum shrimp soup which taste good but too much soup(water) in a big bowl but less filling/ingredients inside the soup like I could count it has only 4 shrimps lol though it taste good. Eggroll spring rolls were good so keep it like that.
