Ming Moon

I had chicken with broccoli and garlic sauce. I added four jumbo shrimp for $1.00 each. Service was very good. Food was really good too. Only downside was the mopping going on while I was eating so it kind of smelt like disinfectant in there.

I never leave reviews anywhere, but this one deserves one. The food was horrible and the service I received from the person at the register. She gave me an attitude as soon as I walked in, but I let it go, then she didn’t even say hi or anything she just gave me the food and charged me. I asked he for sauce because she didn’t offer and she slammed it on the counter when I asked for an additional one she did the same thing. The rice had no flavor at all and did not have any veggies in it just onions. It felt like I was eating mushy rice with no flavor. I will never go there again. The Ming Moon in Wethersfield has excellent customer service and the food is always great. I ordered from the Newington one because I work in Newington, but never again.

Had the broccoli with garlic sauce and it was excellent. Also their vegetable egg rolls are fresh and very tasty

Ming Moon in Newington, CT 06111 is not the same restaurant it used to be since it now has new ownership. I walked in to pick up my food and the cook was literally sneezing right over the food that he prepared and put it in the container. The cashier was also coughing while she cashed me out. I ended up not taking the food because I said I didn’t feel safe eating the food since had just been prepared by the same cook who was sneezing into food. I hope this place gets new ownership soon and can clean things up. Such a sad situation 👎🏻👎🏻

First time to this Chinese restaurant and I was not disappointed! Food was made super quick and tasted fresh! I order the chicken lo mein and wonton soup off of the lunch combination platter and It was enjoyable! Will be back here again in the future.
