About Milu
Welcome to Milu, a contemporary Chinese restaurant situated within the Hudson Eats food hall, located at 225 Liberty St Floor 2, New York, NY 10281, USA. As a Chinese eatery in a modern setting, Milu can be contacted at (347) 745-2055 or via mobile at +1 347-745-2055 for inquiries. Based on recent customer reviews, Milu is noted for its fast service and seemingly healthy bowls, although feedback on the flavor intensity appears to be mixed.
One customer shared their personal experience after trying Milu's chili crisp chicken bowl. While they acknowledged that the "taste was good" and the chicken had a "great texture," they reported feeling "bloated" after eating it. The reviewer also considered that this sensation might have been isolated to their individual reaction. This suggests that the chili crisp chicken bowl is a popular item, appreciated for its taste and texture, but potentially having a heavier quality for some individuals.
Another customer who visited Milu for lunch highlighted the speed of service, stating that they received their meal within "10-15 mins." This indicates that Milu is efficient in its food preparation and service, making it a potentially good option for those with limited time, such as during a lunch break. This reviewer also observed that the bowl they ordered "seems very healthy," suggesting that Milu might offer options that cater to health-conscious diners, perhaps emphasizing fresh ingredients or balanced nutritional profiles.
However, this same customer expressed a significant concern regarding the flavor of their meal. They ordered the Sichuan spiced cauliflower and found that "the flavours are very under par." This suggests that while the dish might have had the potential to be flavorful given the "Sichuan spiced" description, the actual taste experience was lacking in intensity or depth according to this reviewer. This contrasts with the positive flavor mention of the chili crisp chicken bowl from the other customer, indicating potential variability in flavor across different menu items.
Based on these initial reviews, Milu appears to be a Chinese restaurant that prioritizes speed and offers options that are perceived as healthy. The chili crisp chicken bowl is noted for its good taste and chicken texture, although it might feel heavy for some. On the other hand, the Sichuan spiced cauliflower was found to be underwhelming in terms of flavor. The fact that Milu is located within Hudson Eats suggests a modern food hall environment, likely characterized by a bustling atmosphere with communal seating or quick service counters rather than a traditional sit-down restaurant ambiance. The focus on bowls also hints at a contemporary approach to Chinese cuisine, possibly emphasizing customizable and balanced meals.
The reviews do not provide specific details about other menu items, the overall environment of Milu within Hudson Eats, or any particular services beyond the fast preparation time. Information about potential dine-in or takeout options is not explicitly mentioned, but being located in a food hall typically implies a quick-service model with on-site seating available within the hall. Features might include a focus on fresh, customizable bowls with a modern twist on Chinese flavors. Promotional information is also absent in the provided feedback.

Strictly reviewing based on my personal experience. I felt bloated after eating their chili crisp chicken bowl. Taste was good and chicken has great texture. It could be something isolated to just me.
The service was fast. I went here for lunch and got my meal in 10-15 mins. The bowl seems very healthy. But the flavours are very under par. I got the Sichuan spiced cauliflower.
Milu is brand new in Hudson Eats, where I work so I got to try it. The look is very nice. The service was excellent and the food is outstanding. I have had the duck rice bowl and the crispy chicken and both are so crispy and delicious! One of my new favorite work lunch spots
I am SO happy Milu opened at Hudson Eats. Everything I've tried has been delicious—the brisket and cauliflower are two instant favorites. The servings are generous, and the food is full of flavor. I can't resist ordering a side of wontons; both the pork and the broccoli/mushroom are delish.
The food is so delicious and healthful — perfect for a workday lunch since you feel nourished without being put into a food coma. All the bowls and salads are incredible. Service is FAST. My new go-to for when I'm in the office!
