About Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks

Located at 3084 E 3300 S in Salt Lake City, UT, Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks is a breakfast diner serving standard American breakfast fare. While not specifically a Chinese Restaurant, it is a local establishment that provides dine-in services for breakfast and brunch.

Customer reviews offer insights into the dining experience. One reviewer notes that Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks is a "pretty standard breakfast diner" that tends to get very crowded during peak hours, especially after 9 am on weekends, with wait times ranging from 10 minutes to potentially much longer. The parking lot is also mentioned as being small.

On the service front, the staff is consistently described as friendly and ranging from "ok to great," with an average leaning towards great. Food is reported to be relatively fast once ordered, with standard portion sizes and consistent quality. However, one reviewer suggests that the fruit upgrade is not worth the additional cost.

Regarding the environment, a significant concern raised is the ventilation. The cafe is often described as instantly smoky upon entering, which can worsen breathing for some patrons. Due to this, one reviewer prefers to wait outside if there is a line and will only dine outdoors during nice weather, even if it means a longer wait.

Despite the ventilation issue, another customer had a positive experience, praising the friendly and attentive staff. They enjoyed the eggs benedict, noting it was "really good," although the egg might have been slightly less runny than their preference. They also highly recommended the pancakes, describing them as delicious. This suggests that Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks offers well-received breakfast classics.

For local users in Salt Lake City looking for a breakfast diner with friendly service and consistent food quality, Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks is an option to consider. However, potential customers should be aware of the limited parking, potential for long waits during peak hours, and the reported smoky environment inside. Outdoor seating is available during good weather. You can contact them at (801) 485-1134 or +1 801-485-1134. Information about specific promotions or additional services like takeout are not available in the provided text.

Pretty standard breakfast diner. The parking lot is small and it gets really crowded at peak hours. The wait ranges from 10 minutes to "no way," especially after 9am on weekends. The servers have always been friendly, and range from ok to great but averaging more towards great. Food is relatively fast once ordered, standard size, and is consistent in quality. Fruit upgrade is not worth the price. The space needs ventilation though. It is always instantly smoky when I walk in, and my breathing definitely gets worse as I sit there. If in line, I always opt to wait outside. During nice weather, I will only eat outside, even if there is a significant wait time difference.

Staff is friendly and attentive! Got the eggs Benedict, one of my favorite dishes to order out it was really good, egg in it was maybe less runny than I typically like seemed maybe like it was more hard boiled than poached but not sure. Split a pancake with my friend, that was delicious! I love a good diner pancake!

We usually eat here during the week after appointments. It’s never crowded and we are seated right after we arrive. The food is consistent (we always get the Millcreek Classic) and prepared well. The problem, the food is always lukewarm or cold! Our server today said it’s because the plates are cold when the food is put on them. Warm plates and faster service would be a good idea.

Had a great experience for brunch this morning! Came around 12 on Sunday. Definitely crowded but they were turning tables like pros. The staff were incredibly polite and cordial from the beginning. Didn’t make us feel rushed or unwelcome. We were seated in maybe 10 minutes. Our server was really nice I wish I could remember his name. Caleb maybe? Food was great. Also really fairly priced. Definitely coming back asap.

End up in this brunch joint after putting our names in 3 others places all with 60+ min wait.... and we are glad we ended up here!!! Love the friendly ambience and wait staffs. The food doesn’t seem like a lot at first but boy it filled us up! And did I mention it’s really yummy too?
