Midway Steak House

I recently visited a restaurant named Midway, and I had a mixed experience. The cheese balls were absolutely fantastic – crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside, with a rich, flavorful cheese that melted in your mouth. They were definitely the highlight of the meal and something I would highly recommend to anyone. However, the cheesesteak was quite a letdown. It lacked the robust flavor and tender texture that you'd expect from a great cheesesteak. The meat was dry and overcooked, and the cheese didn't have that creamy, melted consistency that makes a cheesesteak special. To top it off, the meal was quite expensive for what I got, which added to the disappointment. Overall, while the cheese balls were a delightful treat, the cheesesteak left much to be desired, especially considering the high price.

It’s the worst hot dog I’ve ever had in my life, the bun was so bad !! The cheese steak that my friends ordered was bad too. Did not taste good at all!!

Are you kidding me? How is everyone rating this place so high? Must not be natives. Born and raised here, back visiting, looking for the best cheese steak on the boardwalk. I walked up and was SHOCKED. They use Steak-Ums. Those sliced steak patties you buy in the grocery store. 3 Brothers next door uses real rib eye meat patties. The picture below is from 3 Brothers, MUCH better cheese steak.

I make a trek down from Bergen County every year for a Sausage, Peppers and Onions. Amazing 😋

I don't know if this is the right place. But there's this outdoor bar that is awesome to chill at. Catch the ocean breeze under shade with a nice cold beer. I had a Beach Bum. It's two beers mixed together. I can't remember the names but it was awesome.
