Midori Sushi & Steakhouse - Long Island

My girls and I come here almost every week. It's without a doubt our favorite restaurant on Long Island. Huge shout out to the absolute greatest server I've ever known... Ken Lee! Absolute pleasure always to see Mr. Lee when we make our visit. He's become a great friend and we always enjoy your company Lee! All the servers are kind, attentive and genuinely wonderful people. Edwin the manager is an absolute gentleman. The bartender Ken is awesome and he makes incredible cocktails. This place feels more like family to me than any other restaurant I've ever known. My girls and I love the people here and want to thank all of you for making us feel so welcome every time we visit. Thank you to the management and staff and of course as always the chefs... The food, sushi and hibachi experience... The whole 9 yards.. exceptional! Where the golden buzzer button for reviews? 10 stars!!!!

This is place is a 10 out of 10. The food was so delicious, the drinks are made to perfection and all of the staff were very professional and amazing they treated us like family. I will recommend this place 1000000000x, it was that good. They now have a loyal customer!!

This has become our favorite place to eat. Happy hour is a blast because of atmosphere, reasonable prices, great food, great menu and most of all Kenny (the bartender). Very welcoming and you become part of the family. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Last night we celebrated a surprise birthday dinner here. I called in to make the reservation and made a couple requests to help with the surprise. The staff here were so unbelievably accommodating to my requests. The food was amazing as always. And our hibachi chef was so great to the birthday guest. 10/10 experience! Thank you so much to the staff at Midori! You guys were great!

Went on a Sunday and we sat right away, staff took our empty places and refilled our water right away. The sautéed oysters were delicious and came out hot. Our waitress took our orders very promptly and we didn’t feel reached at all. At the end of the night we believe the mgr to asked how everything was and if we were there for any special occasion. Place seem pretty clean, but only giving 4 stars bc one of the staff came out w our soup and salad and there was a gross strand of hair hanging at the both of the tray. Lucky it wasn’t in our food but the rouge hair almost touched my water glass.
