About Mian
Mian is a Chinese restaurant situated at 1001 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125. They can be contacted at (215) 717-3990 or +1 215-717-3990.
Based on recent customer feedback, Mian offers a dining experience with a focus on seafood dishes. One customer enjoyed the seafood soup. However, this same customer had a less favorable experience with the chopped lobster, priced at $75, noting that extracting the meat was cumbersome and the taste was not exceptional.
Another reviewer found the food to be "fantastic," specifically mentioning the "gingery" lobster and the "garlicky" snow pea leaves. This suggests that while some dishes are well-received, experiences may vary.
A third customer who splurged on the lobster after a fortunate event noted that the price per person was "higher than necessary" due to the cost of the lobster. They also pointed out that the lobster portion was substantial enough to be shared between two to three people as a main protein. This indicates that Mian offers larger, potentially shareable portions of some of their seafood dishes.
Overall, Mian appears to be a Chinese restaurant with a menu that includes seafood options like lobster and seafood soup, as well as vegetable dishes such as snow pea leaves. While some customers have found the food to be fantastic, particularly specific lobster preparations, others have had less positive experiences with certain dishes like the chopped lobster. The pricing of some items, such as the lobster, may be considered steep, although portions can be generous. Information regarding the restaurant's environment, additional services (like takeout or delivery), other menu features, or any current promotions is not detailed in the provided reviews.

First time. Sea food Soup was good. We also got chapped lobster 🦞 for 75$ I isn’t like it. Need to take out the meat with my hands and taste wasn’t much great.
Prices are a bit steep but the food I had was fantastic. Got the lobster (gingery) and the snow pea leaves (garlicky). The price per head (ie, just me) was probably higher than necessary since I splurged on the lobster after getting lucky at the roulette table. Was worth it, but the lobster could definitely be split by 2-3 people as the main protein.
My wife and I were in the casino today and then decided to get something to eat for dinner. We walked over to the Chinese noodle restaurant and found the exterior menu board to be inoperable. We went inside the restaurant and we were given a menu by one of the servers. At this time a man named Calvin approached us and rudely told us that if we were not going to sit at a table, we needed to leave. He said the menu board was an IT problem, not his. We have never been treated so poorly and I wanted you to know what happened. We left the casino pretty upset with no dinner. Someone should speak to Calvin and advise him how to treat customers with a bit more respect!!! Shame on him!!
Good selection, but our food was a bit bland . Tofu was way too mushy, pepper steak too rubbery. The staff was very, very friendly and attentive though. Prices are definitely above average.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times on my visits to Rivers Casino. The foods that I have tried are pretty good, but I have decided not to return because of poor customer service provided by one of their managers (Calvin). I took my friend (a Vegan) from out of town there on 6/17/23. The selections for Vegans are extremely limited; however he ordered a vegetable dish, which included large pieces of garlic. At the very end of his meal as he was about to consume the last two pieces of garlic, he realized that one was a piece of bone. A couple suggested that we let the server know. He called Calvin over who claimed that since my guest had finished his meal, there was nothing he could do. He even implied that the bone might have come from my plate, even though I wasn't eating anything with bones. Calvin walked away without offering an apology. The couple next to us said they would never eat there again and left. I called Calvin over and let him know that we did not appreciate the unprofessional way he handled the situation and that I would be writing a review. I paid my check in full and didn't mind, but I think an apology was in order.
