I came here on a chilly Saturday night (no pun intended) to get a fine bowl of beef noodle soup and some dumplings and that's exactly what I got. The menu is via a QR code and you can customize your soup to your liking. I think next time I'll get less chili oil just so it's a little less oily for me. I think I got medium spice level and it wasn't too bad. The beef noodle soup was very tasty, noodles were cooked well and the beef itself very tender and delicious. The pork dumplings were plump, juicy and the skin wasn't too thicc. Service was reasonably fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and I would come back again. I'd give this spot a closer 4.3 to 4.4 rather than Google making stick to whole numbers. Until the next food adventure.
Im going to start my review with: truly impeccable. My absolute favourite is the glutinous rise cakes, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Biting into it feels like an asmr video dream as if it is an unreal experience, the chewy part is like chewing soft candy but its softer, warmer, and 79x better. Love it so much. Service is also fantastical, I’ve been to two locations and the kindness is still the same. I will definitely be coming again.
I came here with my family for a new restaurant in the area wasn't disappointed. Service was fast and decently friendly, the restaurant was clean and had an interesting aesthetic. We got the century egg tofu appetizier and also the beef rolls both were pretty good though the beef rolls were too sweet in my opinion and kind of small. All of us liked our noodles, I got the location special super beef noodle or something that has beef rib, sliced beef shank, and beef belly. The meat was super good and the broth was flavorful though I'd recommend having level 2 or 3 spice level, I got daunted and got level 1 but it wasn't really spicy. Definitely coming back with my friends.
If you are looking for a decent place to get some really good dry noodle, go to Mian in Rowland Heights. Here's what we ordered and here are my ratings: * Chengdu Zajiang Noodle - $13.00. 4.5 out of 5 stars. The dry noodle did not disappoint and was the star of the show with the fried egg and bok choy on top. I would come back just for this dish alone, and probably will. * House Beef Noodles - $15.00. 3.out of 5 stars. We weren't as big of fans of the beef noodle soup and think there are better options in the Rowland area. The meat was tougher and dryer, and the noodles were overcooked. * Beef in chili sauce. 4 out of 5 stars. This appetizer packs a punch with the chili. * French Fries - rate 4.5 out of 5. This was a surprisingly tasty dish to have on the side. Definitely order it. You won't be disappointed! It was very easy to get a table at this restaurant (no long wait). There is ample parking for all of the restaurants in this complex.
Around 4.2-4.5 ⭐. Service is good. Prices are okay based on food quality. The beef (tender) is in a good flavor but soup is a little bit salty. Sour and spicy wonton is pretty good! Recommended people who want Szechuan food or spicy
