One long-time loyal customer reported a thoroughly disappointing order, citing issues such as burnt and bitter fried rice, rancid-tasting fried wontons cooked in old oil, and Mongolian beef that was excessively spicy and inedible. The only item deemed acceptable in their order was the white rice.

Another review echoed this negative sentiment, describing the house fried rice as lacking flavor and containing a minimal amount of shrimp. The pepper steak was described as nasty and chewy, suggesting the use of old meat. Additionally, the wonton soup was reported to be flavorless, and the sweet and sour chicken was considered just okay. This customer expressed that their experience was a waste of money.

Disappointed, Dissatisfied and Sad! I have been a loyal client for many years. This had always been my go-to Chinese Restaurant for takeout, even through COVID. Today, I was thoroughly disappointed with the entire order and I called to express my dissatisfaction. I even asked if they had changed staff in the kitchen but I was told “no, we’re all the same people”. The fried rice was burnt, dark and with a bitter aftertaste. The fried wonton were cooked in old oil and tasted rancid. The Mongolian beef, which is supposed to be a savory and sweet sauce, was so spicy my husband choked on it and we had to throw it out. The only edible food in that bag was the white rice. Super sad!

Wow, what a terrible disappointment. House fried rice had like 2 shrimps only, no flavor, we had to add salt and plenty of soy sauce to make it taste decent. The pepper steak (the steak) tasted NASTY and chewy; like it was old steak. 🤮 wonton soup no flavor, and also had sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was mehhh just ok. What a waste of money.

For Fathers Day we ordered over $165.00 worth of food including a bucket of Fried Rice. When picking up the food I questioned the Manager/Owner if all the food was in the bags. He assured me that it was. We went home where everyone was waiting and we found they had not included the White rice with any of the meals. I called the restaurant and the answer was that we ordered the Fried Rice bucket, which we paid for, so they took out the White Rice that I also paid for. I requested for them to deliver the rice since it was their mistake. The manager then proceeded to say no because they had many other deliveries. This was the worst answer they could give considering it was their attempt to make additional money by not giving us what we paid for.

Stopped bye on a quiet Thursday afternoon for takeout. Owner took my order for 2 platters, steak with onions & a roast pork egg foo young. The place was empty & waited about 20 minutes for the food. Nice portions, nice secure packing, decent flavors for a typical Cantonese-style restaurant!

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant for many years but my last order was so bad that I am afraid to order again after seeing all the bad reviews. The special fried rice I order has a very bad taste and it even taste a bit burnt. The fried wonton had a very bad taste and were soggy. The shrimp taste awful and the rips tasted old and nasty. I hate to give such a bad review because this was my favorite restaurant for many years 💔
