We’ve eaten here many times over the years, and yesterday we came to celebrated a friend’s birthday with a feast, while some dishes were decent, some were okay and some weren’t good at all. The good: the Peking duck was sliced at our table side in very thin slices and tasted better than most here in SoCal, the black fungi (木耳) was one of the best in the area. The okay: beef ribs were good, tender and flavorful, cold fen (凉粉) and liver slices (夫妻肺片) were fine as well.The not-so-good: our highlight was supposed to be the king crab that came in at over $750. It was fresh, but lacked any discernible flavor, which was a real disappointment. The bamboo shoots had excellent texture, but again it lacked any flavor. There were a few other dishes that were kind of forgettable. The service was excellent as always here, so no complaints there. The corkage fee was a reasonable $20 per bottle for wines.

One of the best Chinese first date dinner restaurant in town, came here for a date the service was on point and the atmosphere of the restaurant is luxury. The food is great taste and their Peking duck is the best out of all I have tasted. Loved every single piece and wrap. Their lobster noodle is incredible deal. Had a great time here!

The dishes at this restaurant continue to maintain an impressive standard. The seasoning of the "Sliced Beef with Chili Sauce" is precise, with a perfect balance of spiciness and flavor that leaves a lasting impression. The "Spicy Chicken" features a crispy exterior with tender, juicy meat, blending crunch and succulence flawlessly. The aroma of the "Hot Chili Oil Poached Sliced Angus Beef" is intoxicating, with tender and smooth beef that bursts with rich flavors in every bite. The “Mongolian beef ”and “Black Pepper Angus Beef” are equally unmissable, showcasing expertly selected ingredients and masterful cooking techniques, turning each dish into a feast for the taste buds.

I came here to say this is probably one of the best Chinese food I had in a while. First, the servers and waiters were very professional and passionate. Second, I have lived in LA for 2 years and have tried many places but this place, the food was scrumptious. The duck was warm and crispy and it came with the pancakes. The shrimp fried rice was a decent portion. The classic dong po pork was the perfect amount of tenderness and the meat and fat ratio was exactly what I needed. Their seafood was another huge thing I would recommend because their crab was live crab, the meat was so fresh and had a sweet taste to it. Lastly, the sweet and sour fish was a huge portion and we didn’t finish it but it was so good we packed the rest of it to go. I would 10/10 recommended to friends and family. Price may be high but it is definitely worth it. PS the atmosphere was very artistic and historical.

It is one of the better restaurants in the mall. Food quality are above average. The taste is almost authentic. The price of the food is average compared to other similar restaurant. If you go there for the first time, the place is a little hard to find. They are located in the courtyard on the second floor. There is an entrance to the courtyard before Macy's department store.
