Customer Reviews
Great place for a cheap eat in Chinatown. Excellent Wonton Noodle soup, amazing fried tofu. They have a bunch of other standard fare you'd expect at a casual Chinese restaurant but if it's your first time I'd stick with their Wonton Noodle soup. I personally prefer their flat egg noodles but they have a variety to choose from. We drop by here quite often for a quick meal. Efficient service and bang for buck. Hard to go wrong here! Drop by around lunar new year if you want a cultural experience.
Pick-up lunch, diner or just fancy a quick bite as we did during our walk trough Chinatown. Price is good for what you get. Nice taste but a bit greasy on the inside. Fast and good service. Would recommend!
This place was busy on a Monday for lunch, and I loved it. The place was clean, the staff was very nice and food was great. We had the chicken lo mean, mixed veggies and rice. Super simple but delicious. Oh, great points for speaking Spanish!!! Se habla español aquí. The oooonly thing I hate is that they include the tip. I always tip more than the suggested tip, but I get why they do it. Genuine service and over all a great find.
I went in for a quick lunch on a weekday recently. Place is clean and bright. It was not busy, and service was okay. I ordered the Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup, it was flavorful and the beef was tender. I found it off putting when the mandatory 18% tips added on the bill as the server didn’t even refill my water.
Update: Went back again in person and they charge 18% service fee (tip) automatically no matter the party size. Interesting new rule they enforced since the move. But you also get 4% off your meal if you pay cash, over card. So while I don’t agree they should automatically charge 18% tip for you, I do understand why they do that as many workers don’t get paid enough already and many customers in Chinatown area don’t give enough tips. Either way, the food was amazing again. Per usual, I ordered the wonton mein. My friend ordered beef stew noodle soup. We both loved it with the hot chili oil they offer. ***************** Ordered Wonton Mein as take out for dinner. When I go here, it’s my usual as I feel they have the best wonton mein in the area and definitely satisfies my craving for it. I always ask for chili oil with my order as I love it and it’s unlike the ones you buy in a jar in stores. There’s a slight kick to it but it adds so much flavor to the noodles soup. Been a fan of this place for over 5 years, even when it was originally on Mott St and has now moved to Pell St. Staff are nice and friendly. They’re also quite efficient. From walking in the door to ordering and getting my food to go, I was back out the door in less than 5 minutes.
