One customer who visited for lunch with their kids enjoyed the "Mongolian beef," describing it as "very good" and a "really great deal" due to the large portion and inclusion of standard soup and an egg roll. They also tried the "sweet and sour chicken." Despite the restaurant being small, with around six tables that were mostly occupied, it "didn't feel crowded." The reviewer particularly highlighted the "awesome" and "so sweet" server, whose assistance made the experience "amazing," leading their children to immediately want to return.

Another long-time customer has been visiting Mei Garden for years and considers it "One of the top Chinese spots in the area." They describe several dishes as "phenomenal," including the "Mongolian beef," "General Tso chicken," "vegetable fried rice," "vegetable egg rolls," and "spicy tofu." They successfully introduced their coworkers to Mei Garden, who loved it despite initial hesitation, with one now being a frequent customer. The "customer service is always on point," and the staff are "extremely kind and helpful." This reviewer has not been disappointed in over eight years, which they consider significant.

In an updated review four years later, the same customer reaffirms that "This place is still the best," stating they don't eat from any other Chinese restaurant besides Mei Garden due to its "unmatched" quality. They consistently receive orders prepared "exactly as instructed" since around 2010 and have never had an unsatisfactory order. They recommend that Mei Garden add hot oil as a side option on DoorDash, as they always have to call to request it but note that the restaurant consistently remembers and includes it. They "Highly recommend!" Mei Garden.

Went with my kids for lunch. Got the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. My Mongolian beef was very good. It was so much food that it was a really great deal - standard soup and egg roll besides the main entree. The restaurant is small, maybe 6 tables, almost all of which were occupied while we were there, but it didn't feel crowded. What I really want to mention was the service- our server was awesome, so sweet in his assistance. He really stood out and made the experience amazing, by the time we left my kids were already asking when we could come back!

One of the top Chinese spots in the area. I've been visiting here for years. Their Mongolian beef, General Tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, spicy tofu, and everything else I have tried has been phenomenal. I got my coworkers to order from here one day even though some were a bit hesitant due to Chinese being hit or miss. They loved it, and one of my coworkers now frequents this place at least twice a month. The customer service is always on point and they are extremely kind and helpful. Haven't been disappointed in 8+ years-- not even once. And that says a lot! **Updating this review 4 years later. This place is still the best. I don't eat from any other Chinese restaurant aside from Mei Garden. The quality is unmatched. They always prepare your order exactly as instructed. I've visited this place since 2010ish, it has been some time. Never have a received an unsatisfactory order, and that's something to be noted! One recommendation I would request: on DoorDash, add hot oil as a side/extra/sauce as I always have to call the store to request, as it is not available via the app. They have always remembered and included it on every order (I love the consistency). Highly recommend!

BEWARE FOOD POISONING: To start, the General Tso chicken tasted like it was submerged in old grease and tasted horrible. Secondly, I found a long strand of black hair in my chicken. Last but certainly not least, I had food poisoning for two days straight.

I've eaten here probably 5 times total, trying to give them a chance. The food tastes old (cooked in old grease), atmosphere is depressing, and now they put up Shen-Yun posters (fascist cult, fyi)
