About Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese
Welcome to Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese, a Chinese restaurant located at 36200 3rd Ave, Augusta, GA 30905, USA. This establishment offers a range of Chinese dishes, primarily focusing on quick service and takeout options, as suggested by its name "Express Chinese." If you are in the Augusta area and looking for a convenient spot for Chinese cuisine, Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese is an option to consider, keeping in mind the varied experiences reported by recent customers.
Based on the available reviews, the service at Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese is noteworthy. One customer described the staff as "very friendly and nice," which contributes positively to the overall customer interaction. A welcoming and pleasant staff can significantly enhance the dining experience, even for takeout orders where direct contact is brief. This positive feedback suggests that you can expect courteous service when placing your order or picking up your food.
One of the standout items on the menu, according to a particularly enthusiastic reviewer, is the vegetable fried rice. This customer, who mentioned it's the only dish they've ordered, lauded it as "really great" and even "the most amazing vegetable fried rice I’ve ever had at least in America." They detailed the generous inclusion of various vegetables such as water chestnuts, broccoli, peas, carrots, baby corn, and mushrooms, along with eggs. This highly positive review suggests that the vegetable fried rice is a specialty worth trying, especially for vegetarian or vegetable-loving diners seeking a flavorful and substantial dish. The reviewer also noted the generous portion size for its price, indicating good value for money, with the cost being less than $10.
However, it's important to note that not all customer experiences have been equally positive. Another review presented a stark contrast, detailing several issues with different dishes. This customer reported that the tea appeared to be "just like plain water," suggesting a lack of flavor or proper brewing. They also found the fried dumplings to be "overcooked," which can negatively impact their texture and taste. Furthermore, they described the Mongolian beef as "tasteless" and the fried rice as the "worst fried rice ever," criticizing its lack of typical ingredients like onions, peppers, and eggs, consisting mainly of plain rice with a yellow coloring. Finally, they reported that the spring rolls were "raw inside," a significant food safety concern. This overwhelmingly negative experience led the customer to conclude it would be their "first and last time there."
The contrasting reviews highlight a potential inconsistency in the food quality and preparation at Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese. While one customer had an exceptional experience with the vegetable fried rice, another encountered multiple issues across several different dishes. This suggests that the quality might vary depending on the dish or perhaps the day of the order. Therefore, it is advisable to consider these differing opinions when deciding to order from this establishment.
The first reviewer felt that the restaurant deserved a rating higher than its listed 3.7 stars (as of 2024), based on their positive experience with the vegetable fried rice, the friendly staff, and the value for money. This indicates that some customers have had genuinely satisfying experiences. However, the second review raises serious concerns about the preparation and taste of other menu items, as well as potential food safety issues with the spring rolls.
Given the available information, Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese appears to be a local Chinese restaurant in Augusta, GA, that has received mixed reviews. They are praised for their friendly staff and, in particular, their vegetable fried rice, which one customer found exceptionally delicious and well-priced. However, there are also significant concerns raised about the quality and preparation of other dishes, including the fried dumplings, Mongolian beef, plain fried rice, and raw spring rolls. Potential customers should weigh these contrasting experiences when considering ordering from Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese. If you are interested in trying their highly recommended vegetable fried rice and value friendly service, it might be worth giving them a try. You can contact them at (706) 792-9774 or +1 706-792-9774 to place an order or inquire further about their menu and offerings. As there is no mention of specific promotional information in the provided reviews, it is recommended to inquire directly with the restaurant about any current specials or deals.

Customer Reviews
The staff is very friendly and nice and the food is always great although I only ever ordered the vegetable fried rice. It’s really great. It’s the most amazing vegetable fried rice I’ve ever had at least in America. They add water chestnuts, broccoli, peas, carrots, eggs, baby, corn, and mushrooms. It’s really really really great and delicious. They definitely deserve way more than 3.7 stars in this year of 2024. You get so much and it’s only like less than $10.
The tea looks just like plain water. The fried dumplings were overcooked. Mongolian beef tasteless. Worst fried rice ever. Nothing on the rice, no onions, peppers, eggs, just plain rice and yellow color. Spring rolls raw inside. First and last time there.
The owners are so nice and lovely! Clean and smaller amazing in there. Great portion sizes and very affordable.
I came on a Sunday for the first time and had a pleasant experience from both of the ladies holding it down. I got the Small sweet and sour shrimp and steamed dumplings and an arnold palmer for $15. That food was sssoooo fresh, Y'all better come get chu some!
It amazes me that this place is allowed to be on post. THE worst Chinese food I've ever had my entire life. Possibly worst food I've ever eaten. It's worse than expected of a risky dink Chinese restaurant. "Fried rice" and lo mein were sub-par. Chicken was horrible. Gooey, squishy, and way too much sauce. They forgot the egg rolls, but I'm sure they were awful, too. Go to Panda people, not saying panda is great, but it's better than this. Seriously, Fort Eisenhower. Shut this place down and bring in a decent restaurant. I'm not even sure I was eating chicken. 🤢 I've eaten opossums and snails that taste better. Over priced for sure. This food should be given away for free...to a dog shelter.
