About McLoone's Pier House

While categorized as a "Chinese Restaurant," McLoone's Pier House, located at 1 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ 07740, USA, is a bar and restaurant situated in a prime location. They can be contacted at (732) 795-3493 or +1 732-795-3493.

Customer reviews highlight the "amazing" location of McLoone's Pier House, right in the heart of the village. A significant feature is the option for outdoor seating, where patrons can enjoy the "breeze of the sea" and a direct "beach view." The ambiance is generally well-regarded, with one reviewer describing the place as "amazing" and noting the "really nice" decoration and "good music all the time." Another mentioned that while the food was "not spectacular," the "atmosphere was good."

However, some feedback indicates areas for improvement. One reviewer found "no variety of food, mainly on lunch," and was overwhelmed by the number of fish dishes. Another experienced a server who was "not so pleasant," focusing solely on procedural interactions. A notable negative point raised by one customer was the "horrible" smell in the men's restroom, urging the staff to address this for a better guest experience.

On the positive side, despite the restroom issue, the same reviewer praised the generally "really good" customer service, with "really attentive" waitresses and other staff. The food presentation was also noted as "really nice." This customer spent over $100 due to a large appetite, suggesting that a typical spend might range from $50 to $100. A key piece of information is that reservations are required to dine at McLoone's Pier House.

In summary, McLoone's Pier House offers a fantastic atmosphere, particularly when seated outdoors with its oceanfront view. The service is generally considered good, and the food presentation is appealing. However, potential drawbacks include limited food variety during lunch, occasional issues with server pleasantness, and a reported problem with the cleanliness of the men's restroom. Reservations are necessary to visit this establishment. No specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

The place is amazing, on the heart pf village, and you need to be on the outside tables enjoying the breeze of the sea. There is no variety of food, mainly on lunch, and we not figure out with so many dish fishes. The server was not so pleasant, only doing by the process and asking the procedural question. My experience was enough, the food was not spectacular, but the atmosphere was good. Thank you guys.

I'll start first with the only negative aspect I found and then I'll mention all the good things from this restaurant-bar: The men's restroom smelled horrible. For the place and everything related to it the restroom was really smelly, please staff from McLoone's Pier House you must have a cleaner restroom to provide a better experience to us the customers/guests/patrons. Now the good things: first off, the place itself looks amazing, the decoration is really nice and there's good music all the time. You can eat inside or outside (I chose outside which is way better). Customer service in general was really good, the serveurs (waitresses) were really attentive and the other people from the staff too. The food was really good, the presentation of the food was really nice, I spent+$100 but it's because I eat a lot, so generally speaking you can spend between $50 to $100 depending on your appetite. I forgot to mention that to get in you need to make a reservation. What I liked the most from eating outside is that the beach view is in front of you! I really recommend this place but keep in mind what I mentioned at the very beginning, I hope it gets fixed.

Situated on the Long Branch pier, this restaurant boasts an excellent location. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to the subpar quality of the food. While the ambiance was pleasant, most dishes, apart from the pasta, lacked flavor and seemed like reheated frozen meals. On the bright side, the service was attentive and efficient, and the restaurant offers a nice view. Unfortunately, the sangria wasn’t any good.

We enjoyed a high-top table with a view of the beach. My dinner was the crab stack appetizer; It was fresh and tasty I loved it. My friend ordered a steak special but they forgot the mushrooms and onions; so they took it back and made a new one which was very nice but it took some time (well-done steak takes longer) we appreciated the customer service, and even after making us a new dish they still took it off the bill. :)
