McCoco's the Best Caribbean Family Restaurant

The service was okay.Food was mediocre. Drinks were good but no alcohol in them. Took a long time to get drinks because they spend too much time adding candy and fancy stuff instead of just making a good drink. The meat in our dishes was extremely dry. The atmosphere is cool and it's a chill place but it's a one and done for me!

Firstly, the portion size is absolutely huge! When the food came out I was in shock with how much they portion. Everything was absolutely delicious. I ate the mcfongo and my partner got the Cuban sandwich. The wings were WHOLE wings. A lot of places do not serve whole wings so I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. This place offers an array of options and it was authentic. I can’t wait to try this place again.

A BOGO meal?! Uh, yes, please! I tried through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I got the Empanada Colombianas De Pollo O Carne. So good! I liked the chicken the best. And the dipping sauce was amazing. For meals, I got the arroz con gandeles platter. You can pick a free meal, so I chose the Bandera pepper steak. Both were delicious!!

Love their $8.99 lunch special! So many options and great portions. The food and service can be hit or miss though so if you’re willing to take a gamble go for it! We seem to have better luck going during lunch hours than coming for dinner time.

Customer service was HORRIBLE, the waiter/bartender did not check on us one time but she made it her business to check on all the other customers. I waited 30mins for my food to come out cold, then when I told them about it the wait/bartender seemed upset. If I’m paying for food I want HOT FOOD, the plate was warmer than the steak. Why did I have to wait 30 mins for food that was already done? It doesn’t take that long for this steak either. I would NEVER come back, my first experience was great I don’t know what was wrong today, and we came in a snow storm!
