Excellent. We went without reservation for lunch and had to wait for 20 minutes. The place is very casual and not that big. We ordered: chicken egg roll, pork dumplings, dry chicken, fried rice and stir fry steak. We loved everything. The only one that we didnt love as much as the other dishes was the dry chicken, very spicy. Everything was prepared fast. Would go back!

I had high hopes for this place after seeing it featured in the Michelin guide, but I left disappointed. Most of the dishes were salty, and the staff admitted they messed up the sauce for the Dan Dan Noodles, had to take it back. Even with the mistake, the other dishes were also salty—you’ll need extra rice to balance it out. The pork belly with bok choy was decent, but the dried chili chicken was unbearably spicy. The staff didn’t warn us enough about how hot it was, and after the noodles mistake, they didn’t offer to fix it. I don’t think I need to come back, I’ve had better experiences with other Chinese restaurants. Michelin didn’t mean anything this time.

The food here was amazing. I ordered the dry chili chicken and really enjoyed it. The portion was huge and the chicken was fried PERFECTLY. Not too heavy and the bread was crispy and thin. The service was pretty slow though. I was at the table for 15 mins before anybody came to take my order. I was by myself and it was during lunch rush so that may have been it. But once I ordered, the food came pretty quickly.

Very attentive and quick service! The food was super flavorful too. My favorite was the signature dry chili chicken. It was crispy and the mild spiciness was addicting. I loved the mapo tofu too! It was also a colder day, so the Hangzhou west lake beef soup was delicious.
