This is the best place for homemade food at amazing prices. The owner cooks all orders fresh and used fresh ingredients and overall I can't wait to go to Scranton to just eat here. Again I can't say this enough that the food is absolutely amazing. Jim and Judy are amazing people who still bring high quality service and food to your table!!!

Mc Ilwee's is a warm and inviting location. It was clear that this is a welcomed local spot in the community as there were several patrons who shared their day while waiting for their order. Our waitress was very attentive and asked to top off my coffee a couple of times during my visit. I ordered the breakfast special and it was perfect! Great size and a fair price too! The restaurant is on the corner and easy to spot. There was plenty of street parking during my Sunday visit. I hope to be back!

Place is rundown and dirty. Me and my husband went here for breakfast and ordered French toast eggs bacon and toast. The French toast was gooey with egg completely undercooked and raw the eggs on the side we raw as well half done the lady gave us the toast and she burnt it black I had to wait for someone to get my water after me and my husband had gotten our food and after he got his coffee. The bar stool seats are completely uncomfortable and we walked in and no tables were available. This place has mold on the floor and roof and around surfaces completely dirty. 0/100 do not recommend

No frills breakfast. Very nice people. Simple menu. This place is tiny inside. A few tables and a breakfast bar. If you enjoy a traditional breakfast, where you can get in and out…you’ve found it. Cash only.

We were heading home from a weekend getaway in upstate New York and passed through the town of Scranton, specifically to give this place a go since all of the reviews online seemed positive. It's a small town, old-fashioned cafe with great food, coffee, friendly people and excellent service. Very easy to miss if you're not really paying attention as it is in a building that appears mostly vacant. I had the Tomato, Onion and cheese omelet with home fries. The omelet was so delicious and full of flavor and the home fries were moist and flavorful as well. It was apparent this location is a hot spot for the locals as there was a old time comraderie amongst the employees and customers which was a breathe of fresh air as it seems most businesses these days don't care to develop a relationship with their customers.
