Chinese restaurant from hell. I decided to call this place for delivery after reading reviews. I was curious. The dude that I've read about answered the phone told me he would deliver to my address even though it was a little farther than where they normally deliver and with a minimum of $23. I agreed. I ordered large shrimp fried rice with broccoli and garlic sauce and something else and it seemed he could not understand the order and got stressed out with an attitude. When he finally understand I ordered chicken wings next and then he was like were not coming. We cant come.. Im like wow.. really? This rude man wasted my time.

We moved here in November (from Queens) and wanted to find a go-to Chinese take out place. We have eaten here well over a dozen times since and every single time it’s amazing. In January, we had my fiancé’s 39th bday party and ordered catering by May Garden for delivery. The man on the phone was super helpful. I had a lot of special requests and they were all honored. Food arrived hot, fresh, and precisely on time. Our big family are all life long residents of Medford/patchogue and no one had heard of this place. Every single person said this is the place. I’ve never had a bad or even borderline dish from May Garden, and I have never had bad service. If you haven’t tried it, give it a try; you won’t regret it.

— If i could give this place a NEGATIVE -10 i would. But funny enough it’s based on one thing!!. THE GUY THEY HAVE BEHIND THE COUNTER RUNNING THE ORDERS. — Food is average, to okay. —Pricing is a bit too high. Regardless, based on the comments I’ve seen here, i see a consistency. The owner is better off switching out the Rude asian guy taking orders. The nasty, unprofessional, rude behavior is beyond comprehension!! Go elsewhere!

We are back to longIsland for 2 yrs. Have ordered a number of times and have had the food delivered. Food id Delicious, But the man or owner is very very Nasty! On phone and when we pick up. What’s wrong with him, it makes a person feel like they don’t want to go there. But I do because it’s Very good!

Just tried their "Doordash" online ordering and food was ready on time! Their fried rice is pretty freaking good. Food good, nothing spectacular. That "character" at the front counter every body talks about actually....::gasp::....cracked a very small smile at me today. I almost fell over!
