Stop by for some wonton noodle soup, and it was pretty good! We ordered the trifecta (three toppings) wonton/dumplings with noodles, and wonton with beef stew noodles both were great HK style flavor! Glad they expanded towards LIE vs the original place in the heart of flushing. We’ll be back again for sure.
As a person with FJ stomach, will no order fish skin and fish ball next time. Wonton and Dumpling are amazing big and tasty. Overall food is decent. Free tea and hot water are plus!!!
Place look like cool cafe!!! The food look nothing like the Instagram influencer shows or any social media influencer they must tell them their influencer and they get bigger plates more food, nicer display!! Just maybe three bites of the noodle and every bite had a lot of ammonia smell it which Chinese people call soap water!!! It was rough had no egg flavor pure garbage.!!! the shrimp wontons was big just like the pictures but has zero flavor it was over boiled all the shrimp flavor was gone!!! The beef tenants were only three pieces flavor was OK and a soup was salty per garbage.!!! if si FU ciao was still around they will be out of business!!!
As delicious as everyone claimed! Service was friendly and prompt. I would try to arrive before peak lunch time because they get super busy and there’s limited seating. You also have only 30 mins dine-in time due to how busy they are if arrive during peak period. Price is very affordable especially compare to portion and quality. Noodle was fresh and you can taste the bounce in their shrimp wonton. There’s complimentary water and chili oil. Highly recommend!
I’ve had the original Maxi’s Noodle on Main Street saved to go for the longest time but HATE driving into Flushing. Thank goodness they opened another one off Main Street! Like the original, the food was great. Service was excellent. The wonton and dumplings were packed to the fullest with room to spare based on how much wonton and dumplings skin was left. The fried wonton didn’t have that much filling. It was a one bite type deal but a lot of skin. I ended up using the fried skin as topping for my wonton soup. There is a self-serve tea area if you want tea. The menu has cash price and credit/debit card price so if you want to pay less, bring cash. Overall, I would definitely revisit.
