About Master Wok
Welcome to Master Wok, a Chinese restaurant conveniently located within the Mall of New Hampshire at 1500 S Willow St # F113 in Manchester. As a Chinese restaurant situated within a shopping mall, Master Wok primarily caters to shoppers and visitors looking for a quick and convenient meal. This category of Chinese restaurants often focuses on providing familiar and readily available dishes in a food court setting.
Given its location within the mall, the environment of Master Wok is typical of a food court setup. Customers can likely expect a casual and bustling atmosphere, with shared seating areas provided by the mall rather than dedicated seating within the restaurant itself. The focus is generally on quick service and easy access for those on the go. The ambiance would be characterized by the general activity of the mall, making it a convenient stop during a shopping trip.
The primary service offered by Master Wok is likely takeout, allowing customers to enjoy their Chinese food either within the mall's food court seating or to take it away. While dine-in is possible within the shared mall seating area, it may not offer the traditional restaurant dining experience with dedicated tables and a more relaxed atmosphere. It is less likely that a food court restaurant like Master Wok would offer delivery services, as their primary business model revolves around immediate service to mall patrons. Customers seeking delivery would need to confirm this directly with the restaurant.
A key feature of Master Wok, as highlighted by one long-term customer, is its longevity and consistent presence in the Mall of New Hampshire. Having been in business since the early 2000s, Master Wok has established itself as a familiar option for Chinese fast food within the community. This enduring presence suggests a level of consistency that has kept customers returning over the years. The reviewer who mentioned patronizing Master Wok since their high school years in the early 2000s being "glad they're still around" speaks to this sense of reliability and familiarity.
However, another customer review presents a contrasting perspective regarding the value and portion sizes offered by Master Wok. This customer expressed surprise at being charged $16.25 for what they perceived as a very small amount of food, especially when compared to the typically generous portions often associated with Chinese takeout. This negative feedback suggests that some customers may find the portion sizes to be less substantial than expected for the price, potentially impacting their overall satisfaction and likelihood of returning.
The description of Master Wok as "mall Chinese, nothing more to say" by one reviewer succinctly captures the essence of its category. It implies a focus on standard, familiar Chinese fast food dishes that are commonly found in mall food courts. Customers likely visit Master Wok for convenient access to these types of dishes while shopping or visiting the mall.
Given the limited information in the provided reviews, it is challenging to detail specific features of their menu or any unique offerings that might set them apart from other similar establishments. Customers can likely expect to find classic Chinese fast food staples such as fried rice, lo mein, various chicken, beef, and shrimp dishes, and perhaps appetizers like egg rolls or spring rolls. The absence of specific dish mentions, beyond the general category of "Chinese food," indicates a need for potential customers to explore their menu directly at the location.
Similarly, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or specials that Master Wok might be running. Food court restaurants sometimes offer combo meals or discounts, so it would be advisable for interested customers to check for any visible promotions at their location within the Mall of New Hampshire or to inquire with the staff when ordering.
In conclusion, Master Wok represents a long-standing option for Chinese fast food within the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester. It offers a convenient dining choice for mall visitors seeking familiar Chinese dishes. While one long-term customer appreciates its continued presence, another has raised concerns about portion sizes relative to the price. As a typical "mall Chinese" establishment, customers can likely expect standard fare and quick service in a food court environment. For those seeking a fast and convenient Chinese meal while at the Mall of New Hampshire, Master Wok provides an accessible option. However, individuals prioritizing larger portions for their money might want to consider the recent feedback regarding portion sizes.

Was charged 16.25 for the SMALLEST amount of food. I'm surprised too because Chinese food places usually get ya 2 meals outa it. You've lost a customer Master Wok
It's mall Chinese, nothing more to say. But I've been going here since I myself was in high-school in the early 2000s and I'm glad their still around
The lady with short boy hair cut has a rude nasty unprofessional attitude, every time I go there she has the same rudeness, my daughter went there today and she gave the same nasty attitude, appreciate your customers or lose them, she should be in therapy not taking her misery out on others.
Mall Chinese is the goat! So delicious and filling. I always love coming to this place. They're a bit pushy and keep asking if you want a drink, but the food is great. I get it more than any other Chinese. A bit expensive but so it is these days.
I would give this horrid place 0 stars if I could. Let’s see… PROS: 1) Absolutely nothing CONS: 1) The chicken they served me wasn’t fully cooked. It had pink in it. Luckily I did not get sick but once I realized it, I threw away the food. I was furious. That’s just unacceptable, dangerous and completely irresponsible. They should be shut down for that alone. 2) Their “pepper steak” (one of their entrees) is literally a green pepper cut up into big chunks… yes, you read that correctly. Absolute joke. 3) They were half an hour late opening. I had never tried it so I decided to wait. 4) The flavor of the food was non-existent. So yeah, stay away from this place. Seriously. They are going to get people sick.
